My first time to The Butchers Arms today. My friend had booked it and when we arrived we were asked if we had booked a table. We said we had. The lady then said you have the table for an hour which we weren't told on the telephone. If we had been we would have changed our venue as we were meeting up for a few hours to catchup. When we had to leave the lady serving us insisted that my friend had been told on the telephone that we only had the table for an hour and was quite hostile when we said we hadn't been told. Definitely won't be returning!!!!

Lovely afternoon tea, fresh sandwiches and cakes with excellent choice... good value for money. Such helpful staff and this little tea room hosts a gift shop, galleryand some beautiful furniture. Well worth a visit.

Fantastic. Gorgeous food that does a marvellous lunch and is well worth taking children for a treat too. The shop upstairs is a delight and the staff are so accommodating of individual customers needs. Great to make this place the focus of an afternoon in Llantrisant. Also, tidy, clean toilets.

Lovely place, the gift shop is my fave, they only do sandwiches etc, why not do jacket potatoes etc. Its cosy and not many tables, but i had a good experience, nice friendly staff in cafe and gift shop. Look forward to my next visit

Love coming here on a Saturday with my mother and sister for our get together. The staff here are lovely, welcoming and friendly and the food is delicious. Would highly recommend coming here for a visit, would not disappoint from their food, to home made marmalade and chutneys they sell aswel as a gift shop upstairs.

My wife and I have been visiting the Butchers Arms for around 14 years. The name suggests it might be a 'Pub' but in fact it is a cafe which serves Hot Drinks and home made sandwiches and cakes. There is a wide choice of both and the sandwiches, which are delicious, & garnished with crisps, & a piece of fresh fruit, usually orange or melon, are made to order. The staff are charming & diligent. Above the cafe is a pretty gift shop which I try to steer my wife away from with little success. I should warn the guys that also, opposite and just around the corner, is a Botiquey type little shop, 'Zebra' which also has a magnetic like draw for my wife.
