Great food. Good amounts too.

Have lived opposite it since it first opened over 40 years ago and used to use it alot when it first opened as my nan loved it. Haven't bothered for about 30yrs now so for some strange reason I gave it a try tonight. So glad I did, food was lovely, staff really friendly and helpful and portions very generous! It certainly wont be another 30yrs before I go again!🙂

Been ordering from here for over 15 years! Their amazing! Best Chinese in Newport! And ive tried a few! Good value and very good portions.

Appalling customer service, we ordered through just eat and ended up having to cancel our order and go elsewhere as almost three hours later our food hadn't arrived. Our original delivery time was an hour after ordering, five minutes after that had elapsed we received a text saying it would be another twenty minutes. Thirty five minutes later I called the restaurant and was told our food was just being cooked and would be sent out with the next available driver, another half hour later I contacted just eat who spoke to the restaurant and said it would be with us within 25 minutes. By this time we were absolutely starving and it was clear the restaurant were just plucking ramdom times out of thin air and our food probably wasn't even started yet, so having spent the entire evening waiting for Thai food we had to re-order Indian in the end. If they don't have the driver's they should cancel online orders rather than let customers wait around all evening for food that never arrives!

Ordered food 2 and a half hours ago still not arrived. Called twice and twice they lied saying it was on it's way. Just eat contacted them again lied and said it was on it's way. Refund requested. Pure waste. Avoid if you actually want to eat.

Ordered food at 8pm still not here at 9:30 pm after calling twice.. turns out they lied about our food being ready. They were awaiting the delivery driver in one phone call and then said it was just being cooked in the next phone call. Refund requested and will not be ordering food from this place again. Absolute shambles!!

Great food and great portions, will definitely recommend it to friends and family. Delivery driver was very polite and delivered my food very fast so it was pipping hot
