Really like this pub, great food, good choice of beer

Loved it in here. Lovely food, fantastic service, will definitely visit more often only being 10 minutes from it!

My first visit, it was a wake. Lovely pub, warm welcome.

Great pint, good energy there. Friendly bunch. Would highly recommend it. Feel the need to edit this and add I had a pie here last weekend. Safe to say I’m going to be having a pie there most weekends. The food is absolutely outstanding.

Lovely people , great service though personally not a fan of their Pies.It's thick soup with pastry on top covering the dishbowl.Each to their own though.

Brilliant as ever. Best pub in South Wales, bar none. Simon and Anne are welcoming, friendly and go out of their way to make you feel relaxed and catered-for in their pub. The beer selection is fantastic, as is the food. Really friendly staff. Loo always immaculately clean too! Atmosphere is wonderful, and on cold days, the roaring log burner tops it off. A great pub for regulars and visitors alike. If you live a distance away, it's worth making the effort to get here. Kath and Gareth.

Love this pub always feel welcome by Simon and Anne. The staff are great and their new menu is amazing. They are dealing with Covid 19 very well with the 2 metre rule and tables set apart. Always feel safe.

Fantastic and quaint pub. Lovely log burner. Great beer. Great food.Visited recently for the first time in 28 years because I'd moved away from Taffs Well, but fancied taking a drive to revisit, and although it's changed slightly, it still oozes with charm. Great pub. 👍

Crackingly good pub, great real ales and good food, cosy fire in the bar, wi-fi and seated area outside, occasional live music. Well worth a visit.
