Frankie & Benny's in Rhondda Cynon Taf

The staff and management are fantastic and helpful. I used to love the 15” pizza to share with my partner prior to the cinema and thought it was good value.Visited twice since lockdown and the food has drastically gone down hill portion wise. Oh and the price has increased. An example is, for what I paid for a 15” Pizza is now a 10” pizza with bare minimum of toppings. Such a shame and an obvious terrible top management decision. This will be my last visit in its current situation.

Very nice, half ribs and hunters chicken, and they take the blue light card which was a bonus, as we didn't know until we got there 😀 😋

We visited Frankie & Benny’s this evening for a quick bite to eat with friends. I am not usually one to write reviews but since the pandemic, all I have experienced is poor customer service to the point that everywhere I go I find everyone is rude. However, on coming to this restaurant tonight we were served by Kiah, she was polite and welcoming! I actually felt shocked at how nice she was and how good the service was considering the mentality of most people these days. So a massive thank you to Kiah for looking after us and putting my faith back into humanity.

Great food, atmosphere and all made the better by the brilliant service. We had a slight problem with our party size and not only were we accommodated but treated like proper guests should be. The waiter we had was fantastic. A young man called Reece. He sorted everything out and nothing was too much trouble. He even helped us save some money by suggesting buying wine by the bottle rather than by the glass. An excellent experience all round. We will be back.

I went out for a lovely meal with my family tonight and the food was amazing. It came rather quickly and the servers recommendations didn’t disappoint. I think her name was Nicole and she was very friendly as well as made many jokes leaving us laughing! Thoroughly enjoyed

Went there recently for a little ones birthday and the service was incredible. The food was fantastic (the toddler actually enjoyed something that wasn't cucumber or pringles! Thank you for that!) And the staff were fantastic. Emily, our waitress, was brilliant and the little one totally fell in love with her. Emily definitely deserves some kind of bonus for the brilliant job she's doing! Thank you!

The service was excellent especially considering they were on skeleton staff. There is a great selection for vegetarians as well as the meat eaters in our family.

Had a really nice evening here! Reece was an excellent waiter and really went above and beyond to give us the best service he could, food had a slight wait to arrive but Reece made sure we were all happy and had enough drinks and was really communicative with us, Food was really nice and the bubblegum daiquiri cocktails were really nice too! Definitely recommend for a good family night out.

Had a delivery from here tonight via Uber Eats. Adult meals were fine but the kids meal was an absolute joke. £9.50 for a kids meal sounded a bit steep, but it included a drink an a desert, so went with it… hahaha… the only drink option was water, which, as you can see from the photo looks like they are bottling from the tap, not trusting that, and as for the chopped fruit with chocolate sauce? 4 slices of banana and a few mushed up slivers of mango and something else, looked like someone had cleaned out the waste disposal so went the way of the water, so indeed did end up as £9.50 for a plain burger with just chopped lettuce, not even any ketchup, and fries… absolute ripoff and will not be trying again. Also, all food delivered in plastic containers so not exactly environmentally aware either.

Tear and share bread nice but garlic butter dip tasteless.Rack of ribs had too much bbq sauce which made me feel sick.Not enough cheese on bbq chicken.Onion rings under cooked.Coleslaw nice also Corn on cob.Fries could be cooked more.Prosecco with candy floss was a joke. Expected a cocktail glass with glitter in the prosecco with a big pink candy floss cloud on top...it was a small wineglass of prosecco with a small puff of white candyfloss with some glitter on top. The mock tail fruit punch was very nice and half the price of the prosecco!Cookie dough rolo was lovely but tiramisu tasted not quite right. Therefore sadly disappointed this time.
