High Corner House in Rhondda Cynon Taf

Sorry but my Sunday Carvery lunch was a real disappointment.The meat was cut and stored in a gravy tin so it came out looking like a tin of stewed steak.I only had the choice of roast potatoes no boiled ir mashed were available then all the veg was left to stew in warm water with the Yorkshire cold tasteless and burnt.

Visited with friends last week. Delicious curries and friendly staff. However, coffee unavailable as the establishment doesn't have a machine and we had to pay separately at the bar at the end of our stay. Previously, pre covid, we were offered a variety of coffees and our collective bill would be brought to our table.Bins in the ladies toilet were overflowing and cubicles lacked loo roll. Outside bins were overflowing too although this may be the fault of the refuse collection rather than the pub/restaurant management.

Staff nice but food not as ordered came with things gluten free could not have.Shame because could have been good.Effort 5 but resulted in a 2

food was nice, menu needs to be updated, offering prawn cocktail but no longer do them, nothing major but easy to update menus to avoid dissapointment

Popped in for a quick lunch today. Ovens not working ( was told on phone ) menu not disappointing. Warm welcoming great to see. Just finished my lunch very nice, would return

I've been meaning to post this for ages!I've just moved to this area and this pub is brilliant!!How amazing it is to find that I have a proper, old fashioned , local, community pub on my door step.They provide a professional and impeccable service as well as a friendly face.They made me feel completely at home and welcomed me to join in with everything going on. The regulars are lovely and I look forward to getting to know everyone properly. You can just be yourself!The Sunday Carvery looks lush too.😋

Came here for the first time since new owners took over, was not disappointed lovely welcoming atmosphere met by a warm friendly staff, food was lovely cooked fresh, proper chips! And huge portions will definitely be returning would recommend too

Went there for a meal lasted Thursday, had a mixed grill this one is for you if you're a meat lover. Plenty of meat all tasty thoroughly enjoyed it but didn't manage to finish it, took the rest home. Definitely recommend it will be making many further visits.Steve.

Went there with the wife. Friendly staff. Great food and a decent pint. What more does one want. Thank you 😎👍
