La Luna in Rhondda Cynon Taf

This place was much nicer a few years back, we went for a meal last night and the food was very disappointing, after the amount of money we spent there! Shocking! So expensive! They're serving a better chips in a chip shop!! Dessert wasn't too bad but that's it really..... and £8.50 for a watery cocktail no thanks!! Which is a shame because I've always like the place but won't be coming back anymore 🤷‍♀️

Delicious expertly prepared food, reassuringly not a part of a chain. Great service too. My only quibble.. give some of the peripheral furniture a bit of a dust :-)

Customer service from Kate was fantastic, knew who I was and details of my booking as soon as I walked through the door. Really helpful, friendly and amiable without being OTT. Menu choices all sounded so incredible that it was difficult to decide what to have. The belly pork and black pudding starter is easily one of the most delicious things I've ever eaten. I'd have had it for a main and dessert too if able. Highly recommended for a top class meal at a fantastic price point. Will be back very soon.

Very poor meal tasteless, I was very disappointed by the service and the meal myself and the company I was with will not be returning to this venue. Expensive and overcooked after telling staff they were not interested. Meal also was overcharged which we had to bring to their attention before being put right.

We had 3 course meals here , quite a large table of us....slow service on food but not on drinks...waiting staff absolutely lovely, especially abbie...mushroom bruschetta starter came out on half a ciabatta roll but was tasty anyway, steak and chips was disappointing as you literally just get steak on a plate with greasy peppercorn sauce and a tiny bucket of chips (about 15), no salad, onion rings, mushrooms, half a tomato, peas absolutely nothing at all !!! Steak was nice but needed something on the side.Dessert was nothing special..hardly any sauce on the bread and butter pudding and that was like slop.Chairs could all do with a clean as well....we left still hungry :(

Love this restaurant. Superb food that never disappoints. Seated promptly and excellent service, excellent value for money. We will certainly recommend to our friends and family.

Food and service were awful, both starter and main were tasteless, and when we complain, the waitress had complete attitude. And to top it off, the couple beside us also complained which served up some attitude again from the waitress! This is the first time writing a bad review, and for good reason!! Never again

Absolutely amazing experience today, food & drinks were delicious!! Very welcoming & friendly staff. All guidelines in place for covid 19.
