Love visiting this pub for a quick pint .

Long time since I have been back to the maltsters 20+years can't say it was how I remembered it back then it seemed a lot lighter and airy now it resembles a darker version of the pub with the heavy colours and subdued lighting

Best pub in the world. Best staff, great atmosphere. Great place 🍻👌

Great little rustic pub with alot of history displayed.. Landlord is also very nice and welcoming made us feel welcome and had good conversation explaining history of the pub and the surrounding areas which was great for visitors like we were :)

I like this pub. Warm and friendly staff and landlord, nice pint and they play great old school music. Please sort your front door out though. It bangs really loud!!

Called in to get out of rain and use facilities, naturally I had to buy something ordered a pint to pay on card "sorry mate you have to order a fivers worth to pay by card" so ordered 2 pints. Stayed a little longer than expected. Good pint all the same. I asked the barman what events are in pontypridd this weekend, to which he replied karaoke in here tonight . and that was it. Felt a little uncomfortable as he was giving me a glare every so often, like I was unwelcome. Not my fave.

Love having a pint here it is one of my local pubs to visit. Love the staff so friendly. But they need to look at giving the pub a bit of a facelift starting to look worn out.
