A quick search on Google led me to this little gem of a Cafe in Aberdare. Not cheap but where is these days, breakfast was piping hot and food quality was excellent. Will definitely be back

What a fantastic welcome, very accommodating and helpful. And to top it all off, the coffee was as good as the welcome ...very happy 😊 ☺ 😀

Over priced and below average food, babies beans on 1 round of toast was £4 on its own. £25 for 3 small 4 item breakfasts and a childs beans on toast. Not good at all.

Not good , I remeber this cafe years ago, it was amazing , but today I called in with my mother , prob the only place we kept put hat and scarf on , it was so cold , my mother had their cornbeef pie with gravy , not good smothered in salty gravy , she couldn't eat it , and it didn't t look good either . I had a fried breakfast ,, the bacon was awful it looked like it had been cooked the day before , and cold .

If they bought nicer hash browns, their breakfasts would be great. Hash browns just taste a bit.. strange.

Have eaten here for over 30 years, always enjoy the food and love the atmosphere. They have a large selection of hot and cold food, eat in our take away, outdoor seating too. A lovely restaurant and hope it remains for a long time to come.

·

Traditional family run cafe and restaurant, excellent Covid safety observed and just added a new outdoor seating area. Great coffee, breakfasts, baked goods and salad boxes.

Used to be good food but not anymore food comming out frozen and cold. Take a tip Servnis get rid of the cooking staff before they ruin n estblished cafe.

Called here last week 16 September as this used to be a good cafe with decent meals sadly it has gone downhill and very dated to what I recall when I lived in the area.I had a special as they called it steak pie chips and gravy. It was very poorly presented nearly cold and no taste at all.The staff were okay. The place was empty except for us and it was obvious that the meals were very poor and not a patch on what I remember.Never again Sorry!Had a response from owner of cafe a few days later stating they have never served steak pie???So what meat was actually in the pie?? Not as per menu! Some will do anything to avoid a bad review it seems!!

I remember going here over 30 years ago for a knickerbockaglory. We went today with my nan for a late breakfast. All 3 of us ordered the full breakfast. Costs around £6 each including tea or coffee.Wow. What a lovely breakfast. Thoroughly enjoyed it. The meats were cooked perfectly and so full if flavour. The fries bread was perfect. The staff were so polite and helpful. It was such a joy to come back here after so many years. While I'm in the area I will have to call back in for another knickerbockaglory.
