Spice plus in Rhondda Cynon Taf

We had a meal over 6 months ago which was very good although it took an hr to arrive mid week. We rarely have takeaways so we decided to try again. I ordered the same dishes, after an hr and half I rang to ask if the food had been prepared they put the phone down. Called back and was told our food would be 10 mins . 20 mins later it arrived not the same quality as last time.We will not be ordering again

The smells and the menu got me really going for a nice curry but it ended there. Got home after driving by, they gave my father a korma instead of a masala, my keema rice was pilau rice and the pakoras were as dry as cardboard. Going back for the poppadoms though.

This place has been under Different management over the years and used to be my solid go. But the curries started to lose flavour and quality. Portions of meat in them not enough for one nevermind sharing it like we do. I want this place to be brilliant again. Takeaways are becoming dearer you don't mind spending the money aslong as you receive value for money and this place isn't at the moment.

This is a great curry takeaway, the chicken sag is fantastic, tried the beef curry again its great, the starters are fantastic along with the breads.Ordering is easy, quick and they endeavour to get your order on time if you go and collect.Staff service is good as well. It's my local gem of a curry house, very happy indeed!!

Spice Plus will be our new go to indian takeaway. Food is absolutely delicious, not all covered in an oily residue like some are.Lobe the fact that you can log in to the website, place an order for either delivery or collection and do the whole thing online. Will be buying from here again

The food is good, this wont be disputed. HOWEVER, they suffer the same curse of many takeaways, taking on more orders than they are able to deliver. We were fobbed off repeatedly when chasing our order. Arrived 1.5hrs after original time. We were given extras to compensate, but it doesn't make up for a ruined evening.

Actually, we give it NO stars. Sadly, tonight, will be our LAST meal from here. We have ordered from SP regularly and recommended it to loads of friends as we have always been impressed. I ordered online at 17.15 for delivery at 7.30. At 7.45 there was no sign of our meal. I called and was told 'it's out and will be with you any minute'. 8pm; no sign. I noticed a missed call on my phone. It was Spice Plus telling me at 19.53 that the food had just been sent out. I was not prepared to pay for it; the guy said 'ok' and hung up. I called back and after telling him his behaviour was unacceptable received an apology. Food finally arrived at 20.15. The order was wrong (no keema naan). Quite frankly, it was absolutely tasteless. A Shaslick with no flavour; a Lalucha that tasted of chemicals. It's gone in the bin. What the hell has happened? I'm appalled. A former customer

Worst Indian takeaway I’ve ever had. Tarka Dal was just water and a bit a pulp - no flavour. Might as well have had been a mix of flour and water. Called them to ask for a replacement said I would receive it in 10 minutes... 1 hour later nothing. Called back - they said they were on their way - still nothing. Looks like I won’t be eating tonight. Don’t bother wasting your money.

The food is great but ordering online is a nightmare since they came off Just Eat. Their app deserves special mention for being so slow it's virtually unusable. Ordered this evening through their website, not realising they are closed on Tuesdays (Google says they are open) and it took an hour for an email to come back rejecting the order.5 stars for the food.1 star for the online ordering.

Would definitely recommend, friendly staff and lovely authentic food. They'll even make your favourite dish to your specification. Fast delivery - Can't fault Spice Plus!
