Really nice quiet location. The food was great. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfy.

Breakfast was fantastic. Very nice staff. Pleasant stay.

Tea and toast in comfortable area with log fire. Marvellous friendly service. Will try a meal there when we can get a dog sitter!

Lovely place. Great rooms .Great service. Nice and quite . And some great fishing lakes .

We stayed here whilst visiting The Royal Mint , really loved staying here very comfortable, staff lovely and friendly, evening meal was wonderful good home cooked food really enjoyed it, breakfast not available due to just re-opening from lockdown, but did not disappoint us because we ate too much the night before, would recommend anyone to a relaxing break here especially looking over the lake wonderful place to stay.

Beautiful place to visit, food was really lovely and freshly cooked and not this microwave stuff that all these chains seem to do these days. The luxury double room was very spacious and clean with a comfortable bed and very smartly appointed. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. All i can say is Great! 😊P.S. i will be visiting again soon. 😉

My partner and I had a one night stay here. Friendly staff. Nice quiet location. Room was big and airy. Cracking breakfast to send us on our way.

This place is heaven I've been staying here for six months working away and have been looked after like familyThe fishing lakes are brilliant well stocked with beauty carp some days like hook a duckThe rooms are spot on ,lovely and warm , a great shower all you could ask when away from homeThe food big John makes is out of this world home cooked none of that frozen muck ,fresh veg and verity too much to choose so left it to him to make "my tea " and never ever disappointed after a hard day tea on the table delish!!And great size portions for a big eater like my selfIf your around the area for any reason and need to stay over I would definitely recommend staying here out in countryI could only give it 5stars but would give 10 if I could
