Very nice grub. Service was fantastic in light of a major staff shortage. Great effort guys keep it up. Food was first class

What an absolute shambles. We ate at the Beaufort Arms with friends and were all in agreement as to how poor quality and terrible the food was. My toddler was served raw sausages. Luckily I cut his food up and noticed they were raw but an older child may have not noticed this. Needless to say we shall not be returning here.

I made a booking late on Friday for 10 people for lunch. This was speedily confirmed ,out table was ready foe a 1.30pm arrival and the food and service were excellent.

Had Sunday lunch there today. The dessert menu way too misleading. Was charged £22 for 2 desserts! After pointing out the error...no apology from anyone! Had to send lunch back as was cold when served, then desert took half an hour to arrive....even tho place was empty. Not sure of girls name that served is, but her attitude was awful. All in all, will not go back under any circumstances.

Most definitely the worst Sunday roast I have ever had. The plated food - meat, Yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes and gravy had clearly been sat under a hot lamp for some considerable time. The gravy had set, the Yorkshire pudding was flat and the potatoes, which were no bigger than small sprouts, were chewy. Talking of green veg, well there weren't any! Only carrots, swede and red cabbage. The only freshly served part of the meal were the carrots and that was only evident because they were almost raw. No one came to ask if everything was ok so when we left I told a member of staff that it was the worst Sunday roast I'd ever had to which she just replied "oh sorry!" I will never recommend this pub and definitely won't return.

Had lovely food about a month ago, returned on Sunday and it was terrible. 6 Sunday Dinners came out freezing cold, also heard another table complain their food was cold. My dinner had a strand of hair in the dinner. Would not return.

The food which we had chicken chips were cold .burgers were hard my meal which was supposed to be a full dinner with steak and ale pie there was no veg two small roast potatoes one very small sausage wrapped in bacon a flat Yorkshire pudding and a tiny stuffing ball which also was rock hard. and one meal did not appear at all and the meals took nearly an hour would never ever go there again

It was late on Sunday afternoon and I was looking forward to a beef dinner but were told the that it had all gone and were offered turkey so we ordered three and a burger for grandson.Soon the waitress returned to say the turkey had all gone so we offered steak pie or sausages and ordered two pie and one sausage dinner. My pie arrived and it was tepid. The sausages were black, the roast potatoes tough as leather and the yorkshire pudding like rubber and the burger did not arrive until later because we were told it had been delivered to another table. The staff were under duress and cannot be blamed for the worst dinner ever.

The pub was busy but not packed. However, they were clearly understaffed as the drinks took quite a time to arrive. The food was good, but it did seems overdone.

Great dinner tonight. Two families... Pizza burger and curries were delicious. Service great. Thanks
