Captain's Table in Swansea

Batter on food was not crispy, could do with a few more minutes cooked. Chips did not taste like fresh potatoes more like frozen. Service was OK

Excellent fish and chips ,also burger recommend very filling ,certainly no McDonald,little on pricey side but worth every penny as portions big

Very clean, super friendly service, the chips are great, crisp not soggy, the fish is tasty, everything good value for money.

We were starving and next door was closed. Really wished we had gone hungry. Undercooked tasteless fish with insipid chips. Even gave the dog an upset tummy and he's a Labrador that eats everything.

Easily the worst F&C I've ever had. I wish I'd checked on Google first. Pale chips, weird soggy batter. Don't do it.

Visited to get some fish and chips - good one way system in place although quite relaxed in comparison to other places. Chips were great not greasy and tasted fresh, however the fish was quite disappointing….not much flavour and the batter was rather unappetising and not crispy. Also quite expensive in comparison to other fish and chip shops I have visited before

Unfortunately this eve we waited over and hour and half for fish and chips and it really wasn't worth the wait. Fully aware they were busy but that's a ridiculously long time, would have been quicker to drive down to mumbles and back again.

Long queue, warned about the wait as there was a backlog, so that was fine. Chips were a bit on the soggy side and portions pretty small for the price. However the cod was very good and not over battered. We still enjoyed the fish and chip experience on the beach though.

We have had a lovely dinner at the Captain's Table, chips tasted great, fish was lovely and cooked to perfection. Staff were very nice and friendly.
