Castellamare Restaurant & Cafe Bar in Swansea

Amazing restaurant venue at the very end part of Mumbles. You can seat indoor or outdoor but Alfresco dining there was amazing. Its definitely The Restaurant with the view. They are only serving pizza and pasta for dinner plus some lovely starters. I was not impressed with pizza marinara with Anchovy. It was very salty. It was more like tuna pizza with very salty anchovy rather than Pizza Marinara. The prawn with salad for starters was delicious. Price was affordable. Staffs are helpful. Parking is not free. Im really Surprised!

My favourite restaurant in Swansea, and a big part of my life growing up. Simple but utterly delicious classic Italian food, the bread basket with oil and balsamic is a must.I was disappointed to hear they aren't doing pizza any more, these were always phenomenal and I really hope they reverse this decision.

A really nice meal, but unfortunately the staff were dismissive and appeared to be more interested in rushing us to leave within the 2 hours. Poor service as some of the side dishes were missing when the meal came. When we asked for the missing dishes, there was no apologies or any form of Interaction from the staff. I would have definitely returned if the service had been better. But due to this, I won't be returning.

They have some lovely food and the staff are really friendly. It's a bit pricey so more of a treat than a regular place to eat. I found a decent amount of vegetarian options too. Spinach and ricotta lasagna special was particularly delicious!

Delicious authentic Italian food. Good service and great selection of specials. Nice ice cream and good views. It's a little out of town but definitely worth it! Very affordable, especially for the quality. Would be fun to see some local seafood on the menu too

Nice drive from Swansea. Nice walk from Mumbles. Not far from Mumbles Pier. Sat outside and had 2 teas and 1 cake £9.95. lovely view. Good service. Nice and clean. Would go again. View was worth 5 stars, I think.

ample parking area with various charges depending on short stay or longer, suggest obtaining the APP saves time looking for correct fee . a busy bar/restaurant with a menu selection to suit all, worth a visit .restsurant visited on a number of occasions for evening meal always enjoyable with good selection of wines/beers .

I do love italian food but this restaurant & the food is gorgeous!Where it is located is outstanding with the views and for walks before or afterwards.Even when seated inside from any table you will be lucky to see the gorgeous view of the sea and lighthouse.The food is 10/10. Various meal choices available and also the seafood was outstanding.Would highly recommend to go here!

Great lunch time visit. They are running a reduced menu but still plenty of choice and usual specials board. Well worth reserving to get a table by the window as surely one of the best views from a dining table going. They also offer gluten free bases for all pizza choices and a children's menu

Castellamare was a welcome sight in the terrible weather. Service was great. The food was absolutely delicious, the portion sizes are very generous. We didn't have space for sundaes (which looked amazing) but went for some gelato instead. Lovely view to Bracelet Bay. Definitely would visit again if in the area.
