Caswell Surfside Cafe in Swansea

We went to the Surfside cafe today 2cnd July 2022 and was very disappointed , one of the staff just couldn’t be bothered to look up to serve you, hardly any choice of cakes, ect. no pickle to put on sandwich or side salad served with sandwich for the high prices you’re being charged. I had a visitor with me from Somerset and was ashamed of the standards of this lovely little cafe in a beautiful location . So sad….

Lovely place for motorcyclist to park up, to sit, relax, and watch the world go by just beside a lovely beach.Lovely coffee, and breakfast.Great Menu!!Recommended totally!

My wife and I have had breakfast here a few times and the setting, with the view of the sea, is unbeatable. The food itself is usually robust and good quality. And the overall experience is generally relaxing. We love it.

Very nice little Cafe, friendly and polite staff who go the extra mile. My wife's coffee went cold as she had to take our grandson to the toilet. I asked if they could warm it up for me and they gave me a fresh one!

Not impressed, food was mediocre and very overpriced. The staff were uncaring and not very helpful all in all not a nice experience at any level! Not recommended.

Waited 45 mins for a bacon and egg bun. Asked three members of staff if it was coming, then spoke to a manager and no one ever confirmed if it was coming or not. Ended up giving up without eating or refund (so paid £7 for a coffee).

We have visited the cafe at Caswell numerous times and have never been disappointed, coffee and food always piping hot and served by friendly staff.Bearing this in mind, we decided to take our guests for the weekend to Caswell for a coffee this afternoon. We were in the cafe at 4.40, looking forward to our drinks, only to be told the coffee machine was turned off.Most of the chairs had already been stacked so we left.The shutters were down and the cafe completely shut up before 5.00.Our friends were unimpressed, as were we, and we enjoyed a very nice hot drink at the neighbouring kiosk, along with a number of other people who had also been turned away from Surfside.If you advertise as being open until 5.00, one could reasonably expect to be served at 4.40.Very disappointed and you have now lost previously loyal customers.

Went into the Unit 2 bit (veggie / vegan ). Really nicely decorated, girl serving was lovely. Great coffee and really tasty yoghurt and banana bowl.

Great little cafe situated at Caswell Bay.The coffee is particularly nice (wife says so) so it must be good.The sell a wide range of food, cakes and drinks. Plus ice cream.The hot food is served up until 4:30 pm I believe.Nice views out onto the beach and surrounding area, good to get out of the wind or rain but still enjoy the scenery.

Great little place to stop for a cuppa and a bite to eat. We had hot chocolates and a mug of tea. Reasonable prices, but the hot chocolate wasn't that hot. Absolutely PERFECT location, and I bet the wood burner is a hit in Winter!
