I go to the chip shop and purchase a large cod and small chips which I share with my husband I have a big appetite and I would challenge anyone to eat it on their own

·

Massive portion of fish and tidy chips I’ll be back!

·

Lovely fish and chips. Enough chips for the three of us and the birds! Really nice chippy

·

Mediocre, not awful but I wouldn't go back. They ran out of regular fish portions, you have to buy ketchup and vinegar. I'm surprised the salt"s free. The chips are just ok.

·

Brilliant place haven't been the since I was a young boy like 35 years ago but thay the best we had chips left over and put them in the air dryer the following night and thay was the same

·

Lovely chips, always cooked too perfection, generous portions as well. Friendly staff and a landmark shop with lots of history.

·

Awful. Fish absolutely full of bones and very greasy. Chips blanched, could have been cooked more. Hardly ,if any salt and vinegar.Staff absolutely lovely though and social distancing all in place.

Servers were polite and friendly. But the fish and chips were placed in a tub that was too small. The fish was swimming in grease and they were both full with bones. Also the skin was still on. Chips were cold. Not worth the £20 for two fish a chips.

2 x chips 2 x fish curry sauce and mushy peas . . £19.20Okay a little more than I would pay but heard so many good reviewsWe went Saturday 19th was expecting good thingsBut the fish was greasy where it was dripping and very boney at least 10 in mine and my wife's had more she left half of the fish and the chipsMay be a bad day at the office for you guys as the staff was very friendyBut if your paying £7.10 for your fish I would expect it filleted properlyHopefully in these times you will get on top of the game 1 or 2 bones you would expect but 10 at least not good

Had Fish & Chips from here on the Tuesday night (08/05/18); Very good quality fish, large portions, nicely cooked chips. I know some people have complained about the slightly soggy batter but I must admit that's how I like it - crisp on the outside & just undercooked on the side nearest the fish. Delicious! (and I'm not being sarcastic!) :-)
