Surfing-themed restaurant on the Gower. Part of the extensive range of Hillend campsite facilities, Eddy's is a surfing themed restaurant with a summer lodge feel. Spacious and surrounded by windows on two sides, the restaurant enjoys airy views of the campsite and of distant sand dunes. We had pints of tap lager and cider one evening and the full English breakfast the next morning. The breakfast itself was delicious (picture below) and the coffee above average. The menu is not particularly diverse or fancy but for a campsite restaurant, Eddy's is a very convenient and acceptable place to eat and drink. I have reviewed the campsite elsewhere, and have nothing but high praise for this remarkably well-organised establishment.

After a long hike from Mewslade Bay over to the trig point then on to Eddys you'll find this is the best place for a breakfast and a double espresso or a bite of lunch with a taffys cider or a prosecco. An ambiance that could come straight from an aussie beach,, with the right mix of tunes for the setting. Great staff, quality food and drink. A must visit if youre in the area!

We haven't been to this end of Rhossili Beach before and were really impressed with the facilities, including Eddy's Restaurant. Very friendly welcoming staff and we were allowed to take our dog in too. Had a delicious bacon and sausage roll and coffee. Superb! Great views from inside the restaurant and plenty of seating outside too.

A good range of options on the menu. Price-wise baguettes ok but other main meals quite pricey. Food served in paper lined plastic baskets.Staff need a little more training on the menu ranges - the katsu curry says it's vegan but the description says both chicken and veg. We were served chicken for a vegan so that wasn't good but the staff were quick to apologise. However, the food is good and the staff friendly and it's a good spot for lunch or tea.

Nice little cafe in lovely surroundings. Food was tasty but nothing special except the chips - they were pretty amazing. Nonsense that you can eat indoors at the moment but you can, and no signs for the loos hut there are customer toilets inside behind the collection point.

A great place situated in hillend campsite. There is lots of outdoor and indoor seating. During Covid they have the usual precautions in place. Toilets inside are clean. Food was okay, maybe a little expensive. Nice view from the elevated position this restaurant has. Menu is much simpler than it was a few years ago but there’s still enough to choose from. There’s no children’s menu but it’s quite child friendly here.

The clincher for us when we stay at Hillend, is the breakfast at Eddie’s followed up with a chill out and ice cream! The view from inside is great and there’s also plenty of outside seating to enjoy the view. Would highly recommend if you’re staying on the site or if you just want a good bite to eat with a view.

Stopped off hear for a meal to start our day visiting some of Gower's most beautiful beaches. The breakfast was freshly cooked and very nice, highly recommend and looking forward to returning to taste the other meals on the menu
