Wonderful place catered for my celiac family with gluten free chips. Taste was great, very filling! Polite and friendly, professional staff. Will definitely come here again 😊

Food is great and we usually enjoy but this week 2 sausage specials and a beans cheese and chips was about 1 normal portion of chips. We were there about half an hour before closing so we assume they just divided what was left between us to save putting more chips on. It's usually great but was disappointed this visit.

Massively overpriced, charges made were not the ones shown on the pdf menu. Wholly unsatisfactory trading practice, cold chips greasy and slimy fish. Queried price at counter and told they only do one size fish ! and only worked from their blue menu which is not the one show on web site or infact the main menu behind the counter. Advert on door "Fish fryer vacancy" says it all, a visit from Trading standards is long overdue here.

Called in and ordered a small chips and cod. The cod was over £6.00 alone. The fish was cooked fresh and after 5 minutes it was ready. When I arrived back at my hotel I was disappointed with my nearly £9 purchase. Chips were soft and the hard ones were hard as nails. The cod was completely tasteless. Totally disappointed with the lack of value for money, or quality.

Tasty, delicious, yummy! Such a great chippy - chips were fab, curry sauce was banging, fish goujons were the one! Loved it from here!

Big shout out to Finnegans my children love the food there . Always fresh .Last time we went they got the order wrong. I didn't realise until we got home.I rang them . Not only did they admit immediately it was wrong and their fault. ( which I really appreciated) . They Replaced the entire meal for free next time we went plus added an extra meal . Plus we kept the food that we were givenThe 5 stars are hugely deserved, it takes a strong person/ company to admit fault and the way the manager dealt with this was exceptional.Thank you 😊

DISAPPOINTED.... I bought a portion of regular chips at around 2pm Saturday 19th December.I was told by the counter that it would be 2 min for chips as they were in fryer. I was handed a bag within 20 seconds of that comment. I didn’t think of it much but when I got out of the car park, got in the car and opened the bag, The chips were not fresh and for £2.80 there were more of bits of left over chips more than normal chip.. I was very disappointed as I was told one thing and was waiting for fresh chips and was given old chips. Will not visit this place purely because customer service was bad and was given left over.

Finnegan's is a fantastic fish and chip shop. If you phone ahead you'll always find the staff who answer are happy to answer any questions. You can also order ahead online and this allows you to add any special requests with your food. I was ordering some gluten free food. They can do this for the children's menu too. When we arrived to collect the gluten free cod coujons had just been cooked. The batter was perfect and the food tasted lovely. Impossible to leave any behind. If you or any family are looking for delicious gluten free fish and chips you can't go far wrong. The staff are knowledgeable and this is very reassuring. We have visited twice this n the past few months and the quality has always been high.

Fancy fish and fries with wow hot Carey and staff is awesome and super friendly specially lady chef best thing is now they server halal food to just asked them. They make it in separate frier.
