Had an early lunch (12) and one of the staff saw us and took order even though she started in 30mins time. We had a cut down menu due to kitchen not ready for chips so settled on a baguette. It took a long time to come out however but was very tasty

Excellent place to chill everything perfect food service atmosphere worth a visitA perfect local feelNice to see its functioning at pre covid levels now.

Food was good pub food, restaurant was quiet for a Saturday evening, but the weather was awful. No check back on our food and the plates remained there, we were there for two hours, bar staff friendly and helpful enough.

Disappointed, Sunday roast was poor, roast beef ( after I asked for lamb, only to be told 25 minutes later not available) want unchewable, veg bland, tho the Yorkshire puds and roasts pots were nice. We were left for 40 minutes after we put our plates to one side, and finished our drinks, no staff approached. We hailed the manager, who was dressed inappropriate, with no mask on, none of them did, we complained about the food and service, and he had the decency to cancel our bill and apologise. Don't know what the meals are like in midweek, but we will not be returning.

Awful service waited well over an hourWe were a party of 10 spread on two tables. One table finished their starters and had their main course. When we asked when we were having the rest of the order they mislead it. It eventually came after we complained. Only to be rudely confronted by Catrina (one of the manageress). The steak was stone cold. I certainly won't be going there again. It's not as if they were busy there were only two separate tables eating . Maybe a course in public relations would be an idea.

Oh my goodness, the roast beef dinner was as good as my mother used to make it. Great value and excellent service. Lots of sanitiser stations throughout the venue making it covid secure.

·

Friendly, helpful staff and the best pint of dark ever! (According to my hubby)Great food menu and quick service.Lots of different seating arrangements including window seats or circular booth. No need to book, always room. Good atmosphere and a bit of background music too.

Staff are amazing and friendly. Food is not great but not bad either. Nice little local pub

Dear Hen DderwenThank you so much for donating a Dine for 2 Voucher, as a Raffle Prize for my Fundraising Event, to raise money for Ty Olwen Hospice. You will be pleased to know that we raised a fantastic £3,260.00 for the Charity and they were absolutely chuffed to receive this. So thank you once again for kindly donating to such a great cause. I am attaching a couple of photos that you may want to put up for your customers to see. You will see from the last photo that my Dalmation just had to get in on the seen lol. Kind Regards, Ashley Pegg xx
