Hiks in Swansea

Very good fish and chips. Good, clean, fresh white fish with a lovely side salad and a sprig of fresh parsley. There is other foods available here too.Nice high bench seats at the tables which is an ideal eating position.Staff and service were friendly and excellent.

Hiks is an excellent place to eat with a great choice. All the food is cooked lovely. The Sunday dinner is also very tasty.

Absolutely amazing food at Hiks and awesome service from chef Ashley and the team. I’ve only recently discovered this gem and it has been our family favourite fish and chips spot since! We love our battered plaice cooked beautifully by Chef Ashley and chip, house tartar sauce and even their burgers are on point!…..Highly recommended this award winning chippy!..keep up the good work guys.Sham

Aggressive female member of staff targeting customers if exempt from wearing mask she was very rude, also hypocritical as kitchen staff not wearing a mask.Only came in for food not an interrogation.Food goodUpdate....I think you missed the point aggressive service.... no need for it at all ... we are all aware of the "law"

They probably make the best cod in S Wales and have a good sating area.kids menu is well priced. Keep up the quality and please offer discount for emergency services

Amazingly polished set up - but it's still a local chippy. You can wait here, but it's popular for a reason. They keep the prices reasonable too.

Really, really nice place! 😀 we had two kids meals (drinks included), small fish and fish bites - all very tasty, not greasy at all! My only one small criticism would be lack of veg with it - no broccoli, carrots, etc. But we asked for a salad and we got it. 😀👍 Reasonable prices.Also very nice touch - my girls got some activity sheets and crayons, so they weren't bored waiting for our meal. 😀And finally - nice and polite staff. 😀 Hicks - well done!!! 😀👍👏
