Johnnies Fish and Chip Shop in Swansea

Brilliant. Very friendly and helpful staff, delicious haddock and chips freshly cooked to order. Sat at their little table outside and thoroughly enjoyed it. Tucked away in a little road up the hill from the seafront, not all that easy to find.

Great freshly cooked fish and chips, and great customer service. Well worth the trip from Aberdeenshire.

Just had the best Christmas Eve chips and scampi from Johnnie’s! What a brilliant place. Tucked out of the way in the Mumbles. Fantastic food and brilliant service! Highly recommend it!

From London, had a job in Swansea and I fancied some fish and chips. So I decided to check out Johnnies. When I arrived there was a massive queue outside the shop, thought to myself ok the food must be nice! I walked in and I was like WOW the size of the fish was HUGE! Ordered Cod and chips they don’t do large because the fish is massive anyway lol.. The staff are nice and friendly.. My fish and chips was absolutely delicious.. Only downside was the wait but that’s because they’re a really busy shop and the lady serving was rushed off her feet but still done well.. The food is worth the wait.. Highly recommended if you are in Swansea..

always been a favourite to me, i’ve came here ever since i was 5. the staff in there are so kind there and definitely worth the price. prices aren’t expensive and are very reasonable. it is a bit hidden but it’s easy to get to if you know where it is. it’s lovely to get chips there and sit on the beach front with somebody. definitely recommend!

Great chippy, not too far from the water so definitely worth the trip. Fish was amazing, batter was really light and crispy. Myles (Miles?) was brilliant, really helpful couldn’t have asked for more.

Fantastic chippy, a little tucked away but worth the hunt. Best chips in the area. Worth sitting on the seating and enjoying the setting...we will be back

Jonnie's fish & Chip shop, always the best on "The Mumbles"as far as I am concerned. The most gorgeous Fish and Chips the batter is so light and tasty,the chips are so moreish, I don't know what oil they use to cook the chips but it makes them a wonderful flavour. Johnnies staff are always so nice and helpful you are always welcomed with a smile and a chat when you go there. I love sitting outside Johnnies eating my food whenever the weather permits. Next time you are in "The Mumbles" give Johnnies a try you won't be disappointed.
