Lovely country pub/restaurant with friendly welcoming staff. Lots of great seating indoors & outdoors. Lots of curry's on the menu. I had fish & chips, it was nice.

Amazing delicious food and service by the staff! Great gluten free options too! Very close to the sea as well, about a 30-45 minute walk from the hillend campsite.Highly recommend

Went there on Saturday.. booked a table in the afternoon for 19.45. to be told table was not vacant.. managed to get a table after waiting 45 minutes… then ordered food .. which finally arrived at 21.30 !!!!…couldn’t leave as we paid for the food up front… Fish and chips for me and scampi for my partner… fish was just a large piece of batter with a small piece of fish inside and partners chips were partly cooked … To sum it all up food was like a cheap BOGOF.. but at top prices … pity as it had lots of potential but failed to deliver.. To many bookings taken = inefficiency’s to deliver. Will not return.

This is a really great pub, a lot bigger than it looks from the outside. Plenty of parking. The staff were really friendly, and the food was delicious. 3 options for vegans, and they were good options. The vegan cheesecake was amazing!!The only reason I've given 4 stars instead of 5... We went to this pub based on the terrific reviews about their Sunday lunch. On arrival we were told Sunday roasts are not served in summer time. I didn't see this anywhere on their website.

“Can’t get over how accommodating they were.” We were a group of 12 having dinner and lots of drinks there on a bank holiday Sunday. The food was fantastic (delicious, quick and hot!). The service was even better! Thank you for a lovely and lively evening at the Kings Head Inn!

Stayed here over the long weekend and had a great time. Despite a really busy weekend they managed superb. The rooms are great and larger than normal, we had a 3rd bed in our room and still loads of space. Great wholesome food and ale! There are loads of walks directly from the village, and the beach is only a few mins drive. Views over the ocean and perfect sunsets. I would highly recommend a stay here.

Popped in for lunch on our way to the beach. Luckily it was a beautiful day and we were able to enjoy lunch on the front terrace.Staff were very welcoming and we both had a Brie and cranberry baguette which came with some salad and crisps .It was first class. We also ordered some chips which were amazing. Best I've ever had.Washed down with a pint of Buckleys.Must admit we had a little kip in the sun on the beach. Fabulous 👌

When it rains as it did on our visit/stay, everything about this place was just perfect. Wet dog welcomed. Comfy room, clean and had the essentials. Meals, hearty and extensive. Still coming out of covid restrictions but a fantastic place to stay for the beach and paths.

Great pub with great food and lots of space inside and out. Lovely large rooms available and 6 min drive to the beach. So dog friendly there's even dog ice cream and their own menu
