Nines Global Buffet in Swansea

Food was great! I at least tasted most things. My favourite was the custard dim sum buns, they where great but everything I tried was cooked well and tasted good. Deserts where good too, loads of choice. Place was mostly clean (it was busy when I arrived) service was excellent. Loved it, will defiantly go againLittle details about the decor stop it from having 5 but it's no worse than most places (it's mainly that Swansea has some pristine eat outs that nines is by default going to be compared too so 4*)

Food was ok not great. Most stuff not available as visited in the day.Ice cream machine had sign saying out of order but it wasn't 🤔

It's a nice place to go as a group and enjoy different cuisine

I found food overcooked and meats were rubbery. Only one or two dishes were okay together with some desert but definitely not worthy what you pay for. Very expensive considering the quality. Much poorer than what used to be called Cosmo. Staff were good.

I mean it was okay. Nothing special but not horrible either. The food was nice and warm. There was a lot of options for food and most of it was tasty. It wasn’t michelin star but that is not what I came there for. The staff were really nice which is an improvement from the last time I was there.

Went here on the 13th of March for my Birthday with my girlfriend, friend, and mum,when we finished we noticed some people sticking their mouths and fingers inside the Chocolate Fountain they have for the buffet, I kindly asked the manager to close the section down as this was definitely unhygienic and he just said he can't and basically he didn't care (theres CCTV everywhere) so I asked for his name as I wanted to report him and he stepped up to my face and shouted towards me that his name is Michael and to take this outside ,I was baffled by this unprofessionalism especially for a 'manager' he was then getting very aggressive as we was walking towards the exit and once We stepped outside he ran inside the restaurant and ripped a fire extinguisher off the wall and started chasing me with it and swearing, another member of staff came out and started shouting,attacking, and getting angry because I started recording the whole situation for my own safety, DO NOT EAT HERE, as a Chef for 6 years the service, hygiene, and staff are Crazyyyy, I just moved to Swansea for university so I'm not sure if this is normal however I wouldn't recommend going here

For our family group of 12 on Saturday evening we found Reception very welcoming. Floor and counter staff polite and efficient. Food was amazing just didn't have the capacity to try it all! Something for everyone. Not cheap at £18 per head but very good value. Will definitely return on another family occasion.

Went there tonight for my birthday and considering a lot of the reviews were bad, we all enjoyed it. I'd definitely go again. Just under £20 each ( Free if its your Birthday 😁) and £2.95 for a refillable soft drink.

HYGENE HAZARD DO NOT EAT HERE !Visited Swansea with some friends and there were 7 of us in total and fancied a nice meal, booked for 7.30pm but was running 10 minutes late and rang ahead and let them know, got there and two lady employees were standing at reception shouting at eachother in their language for a good five minutes before even bothering to acknowledge me,Went downstairs and the tall skinny manager with the oversized suit came over to us and snatched my ticket and said "this way" without even saying hello or anything, led us to table and said "there at the back" and immediately stormed off, went to the bar and barman was very rude and gave me a hot glass with with no ice and rolled his eyes when I asked for ice we then found a hair in the food and called the manager over and he said when it is made sometimes people touch their heads then they touch the food 🤮 so it can be transferred and told the pregnant person who's food it was that he will not be giving her a refund or even a discount and told us to call head office if we are not happy with this, told manager his attitude was not proffessional at all tonight and he didn't even say hello when he got us and he said "actually I said Hi so maybe you should get your hearing tested" all 7 of us confirmed he did not say hi and he stormed off, at the end when I asked for head office contact details he gave me a card and said "here you go, jog on mate". Disgusted with this service as we all work in customer service and would never be able to treat customers how we were treated and to be honest we wouldn't want to treat people like that! Have not rang head office and will call tomorrow but wanted to warn people not to spend hard earned money here. Feel even worse for the staff because if he speaks to customers like this then imagine how he treats them !
