Pub on the Pond in Swansea

I was really impressed by Pub on the Pond on my last visit. I took my nieces to the park and we called in for some lunch. As I am coeliac I wanted some reassurance about what I could eat from their menu, I spoke to the staff and they asked Chef Julia to come and discuss the menu with me. I found her really helpful and funny! We all had such a lovely time. 10/10 would recommend!

Terrible experience again. Drinks put on the table without a word, food slammed down without a word, they didn't even know who's food was who, just put it on the table and walked off, no can I get you anything else? Yes some customer service, 12 year old staff members talking and hanging around by the bar. They are all so pathetic and rude its embarrassing. Then there was the food it was not nice at all really salty and greesey, a big disappointment and waste of money. Gutted!

The Lasagne was very slimey and oily - was very clearly frozen and heated up. Had one mouthful and left. The customer service was embarrassing by the 2 young girls serving. This place gets worse every time I visit. Won't be back

Had a pleasant Friday evening meal with the wife and our dog. There was a food deal on nearly every day of the week and ordering via the app was super easy.Will definitely be back

New and improved dog station, including a blanket and treats! Plus new separate menu for gluten free items all listed/described in its own laminated page.

We had their Christmas Dinner followed by the festive Crumble!!! All was delicious couldn't finish all the veg available to us!!! The Staff were most helpful...cheerful..and welcoming!!! 2nd visit there ....and we will definitely go again 👌😍🥂😍👌

Generally you're typical pub fayre with a few choices that are a little different mixed in amongst the old favourites. It was fairly busy for mid week with a nice atmosphere. Our meals did take a little longer than comfortable to arrive but it was only an issue due to one very hungry 8 year old in our party. The portions were of a good size and reasonably priced. They have deals available most nights also with something for everyone. The staff were great, friendly and attentive. Would definitely visit again. And my only reason for not giving 5 stars is the fact that the toilets weren't too clean and felt they could do better on that level especially in today's climate! But otherwise a great time was had by all.

1st visit here and wasn't disappointed at all. Staff were pleasant when we arrived, showed us to our table and explained the protocols for ordering due to covid restrictions.We ordered via the app, food arrived in a reasonable time and was lovely. Will be planning another visit soon hopefully.
