Amazing staff. Great that you can take your dog in but yet again the food was a disappointment. The veg alone was enough to put you off your meal. Sorry to say this because everything else was to the highest standard. I have had a steak, plus a few roast dinners here and I haven’t enjoyed one of them. Sorry. But 10/10 for service.

The table was in a nice position and staff were very helpful and pleasant. Unfortunately, the Sunday dinner was far from appetising. The meat was not what I expected and extremely chewy. I found the vegetables were over cooked. A real shame when the ambience and table service was good. But, for that reason I feel 3 stars is suffice here.

Very friendly pub, with lovely helpful staff and delicious food too. Handy car park and can get the parking cost back at the bar, when you order food or drinks, so not out of pocket. Cannot wait to come back and have another meal. Great value for money. Been again and still great service and food. :)

The place is nice and staff friendly. The cod and chips were generous however the steak was barely cooked - cold/,raw in the middle and with very few chips. So a bit of a mixed experience for us.

Amazing. 10/10 cannot fault. I had the keema curry which is lovely and my girlfriend had a stake and both were cooked to perfection. We were served by Alan and he’s amazing, super friendly and super helpful. The atmosphere is great and the pricing is phenomenal.I would highly recommend coming here.

I've been coming here for years time to time.Always happy, satisfied of wide choice of cask and craft beer (so much regret that chain is changing the owner and welsh Brain's won't be a major beer supplier), beautiful-historic ambient, nice views over Marina and super-kind service...But during this Christmas Season exceeds even my wildest dreams of getting experience here.Festive Menu was well combined, all of the meal been matching together. Very good quality of products (remembering it is still just a pub food officially), superb-tasty composition of fab fantastic startr (onion soup with toast on my side), tender meet with roasties, full of flavour gravy, and boiled vegs and fabulous dessert at the end.Simply pleasure and pure heaven for my taste buds 👌😋I have to mention about ultra polite, friendly and helpful staff which make experience even more special.Plus very low prices comparing to other places of similar class. The only one thing which I can put on negative impression list is a speed of service.Got a feeling that I'm attending so e sort of running marathon. Meals been served one by one with two (literally!) minutes breaks.Even after my request of bringing dessert at least with 10 mins delay nothing changeBut it didn't ruin the full, very positive, experience at the end.Definitely will get back for more?ps. Worth to visit especially summer months for Swansea International Jazz Festival when Pub is a host of some performances!

Friendly helpful staff in a busy open house that welcomes dogs.13/11/21 - Booked a table in advance. Ordered drinks at the bar then had the option to order via the scan code on the table or a the bar remembering your table number. Pay cash or card as you order. Collect condiments (sachets) & cutlery from near the bar. Food was nice.

Really nice pub in a converted victorian pump house, as the name suggests! Good sized outdoor terrace too but it was a bit cold when we were there. Big portions of classic pub food, done well and nicely presented, at very reasonable prices. The kids meal was also great value. The service was good - our waitress was very friendly and the drinks and food arrived quickly.

Excellent service from a young lady who took our drinks order, then food. She was very friendly and professional. Sat inside by the open door due to the hot weather. Nice interior. Order drinks and food. Food was good, but small potions for the price we paid.
