Really disappointed. This is fancified and overpriced Indian food. The balti chicken was chewy and the pilau rice tasted awful. It is a lovely restaurant so was a shame the food was so disappointing. It was also very quiet when we were there but we waited a long time for food .

Visited here with my family. Had to wait over an hour for drinks and food, was served awful food and was then charged an extortionate price. Even waiters acknowledged the poor service. Would not recommend should’ve gone to mcdonalds.

Lovely dining experience. Staff very friendly from the moment we stepped in and the food was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend Rasoi and we'll definitely be coming back again soon.

Table booked for 5pm when the Restaurant first opened.. No staff to seat us while we waited at the entrance for nearly 5 minutes. When we were seated drinks and poppadoms order was taken. We had to ask for a jug of water twice before it was brought to the table. (there was only us and one other table in the restaurant)Food order was taken and repeated 3 times. Staff then returned again to check order, again repeated order to ensure it was taken down correctly.Startes came out fine, plates were collected but no drinks offered. We were then asked again by staff what we had for starters.. Unsure why.Mains then came out, missing something, although quite quickly rectifide. Still no drinks offered.Food was OK.. But not up to the standard you'd expect.Table was cleared, no drinks offered, didn't ask if we would like the bill or desserts etc.Went up to the bar to pay our bill, it was wrong and had to be changed for our correct order (extra food on there)They didn't ask if everything was OK with food/service etc. Both male and female toilets were filthy.Overall very poor service and just OK food

Beautiful atmosphere. We were made to feel welcome and instantly shown to our table. The food we chose was in the £15.00 two courses deal. We had starters and a main. The here was plenty of food and it was really nice and tasty. Would definitely go again.

We had a family of 12 visit, meals were served all at the same time which was nice. Starters and main meals were enjoyed by all. They were happy to bring out a birthday cake we had brought with us and they joined in with the singing. Plates and a cutting knife also supplied. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Only 1 downside was the computer system was playing up for us to pay our bill so we were waiting around 20mins at the end. Will definitely visit again.

Booked a table for 7.30 arrived on time and directed to seating area with a menu. Shown to our table minutes later and asked if we wanted drinks which we ordered while we looked at menu. Waiter looked confused think he wanted to take our food order as well??? We placed our order, he seemed a little confused by what we ordered, ??? Waitress appeared and said something about an offer that was available which wasn't explained properly and we just went ahead with what we ordered . Food all arrived promptly and was delicious , however we had asked for a wine menu which we didn't get decided not to bother and had another beer instead. This sounds picky but different waiters and waitresses served us which was a bit confusing plus they kept wandering around looking to see if we'd finished food and drinks which to us felt over attentive interrupting us constantly . Not a very atmospheric restaurant but the food (which is the main thing) was delicious and perfectly cooked. Also the cutlery is very hard to hold due to its design.

I visited with my husband this eve. Whilst the restaurant is superb and the staff faultless I was very disappointed with my main meal. Being a vegetarian I chose veg panchratan from the limited menu. It was all frozen vegetables mainly consisting of peas, sweetcorn, green beans and sprouts. I thought it an expensive dish at £8.90 for cheap frozen vegetables and the cumin seeds were hard and off putting. Sadly we won't be returning. My husband enjoyed his chicken tikka masala but he said it wasn't the best he had had. All in all an expensive meal.

Lovely food which puts a twist on the traditional Indian menu. Very tasty - recommend the Samosa chaat starter - never been a fam of chickpeas but I am now!
