Had an absolutely fantastic meal here. Staff were so polite and helpful. Prices very competitive too. Will be visiting this restaurant regularly.

Not impressed at all.We waited 25 mins past our booking time for a table even tho there was tables free. No drinks offered while we waited .The food was bland/underseasoned, nothing tasted authentic or of good quality.The staff were massively disorganised and seemed to spend the whole time rushing around and achieving nothing. Also the staff wasn't to be approached or spoken too as there was only 1 lady who would deal with any ones orders.

My family and I have just been to the New Slow Boat High St. We haven't been here for many yrs, but omg the staff are so friendly, the food is absolutely amazing, prices are so reasonable, the small things like finger bowls and wipes, complementary prawn crackers, all goes a long way. It knocks patches off another local chinese in the marina area, thank you all, x 👍

First visit today, already looking forward to eating here again. The staff and owners and are a delight, the food is fantastic and the lunch deal is amazing value. Perfect all round!

This place is great! Atmosphere is chill and cool but the staff are also really friendly. They know what they’re doing and what they’re talking about, and you can tell making their customers happy is their main priority. Food is fantastic some Cantonese classics and some twists, and for their prices it’s 100% worth it.The day before our visit the owner and her husband were viciously attacked by thugs, both required hospital treatment for facial injuries and broken bones. This did not stop them opening the restaurant.Thank youDefinitely 5 stars

We visited the New Slow Boat today for lunch. Had the lunchtime special which was really tasty as usual. We had a lovely welcome from staff and had a very enjoyable lunch. Thank you

口味道地，魚肉鮮甜，異鄉遊子回味中式餐飲的好地方。美中不足的是魚貴但是又很小條，白飯也不便宜，不然就五顆星了。The taste of each dish was spot-on, the service was good and the atmosphere comfortable. The steamed fish and duck tasted especially good. However, the fish was a bit small for the price and the rice a bit oh the pricy side, so I have to give 4 stars instead of 5. This is for the Chinese menu though; I do believe they have different items on the Chinese and English menus.
