The Deer's Leap - Sizzling Pubs in Swansea

I grew up drinking in this pub, in fact it was the first pub I ever got served in when I was 15! It was always busy and had amazing staff. However after my visit on Saturday, it’s fallen down so far!Saturday at 2pm we had booked for, all 5 of us were crammed on a small table, fridges were empty and a very limited selection.Food was very disappointing, my rare steak was chewy and raw, one of our party didn’t get her meal (it was only a chicken burger) the burger was dry and had definitely been sat under a heat lamp, the two deserts we ordered (2 x vanilla ice creams) took 15 minutes to be delivered to the table.Won’t be returning until they get their act together.

I'm a regular at this place for food, but today the wait was over 30 mins and the food was absolutely disgusting! I would not recommend this place and will never return. Who ever cooked the food needs to be sacked

Went on Saturday as there was a band there amazing didn't dine that night out smelt amazing... The food is lush

Had a meal today, the meal was awful. We never leave bad reviews but this was the worst meal we had in a long time.when asked by the staff member if we enjoyed our food , me and my partner said it wasn't the best and nothing was done to rectify this .the chips were hard and seemed under cooked , the sweetcorn was running with water, the gammon was very thick and also seemed under cooked when requested for it to be well done

Stopped here after a visit to the local hospital. Lovely staff serving hearty pub grub. All decently priced too👌

Fantastic food at reasonable price. Ordering process was a little slow.

Table was in need of levelling but service was quick and friendly. Food was up to quality and served hot. Excellent experience

Popped in for lunch, wasn't too busy for a Friday lunchtime. I had a mixed grill with salad instead of chips and hubby had a burger. All cooked well and reasonably priced too.Staff were friendly and food didn't take too long to come !!

Lovely,clean pub,food is delicious,only downfall is,the last twice we've been,they've had a reduced menu 😩😩
