The Eagle in Swansea

This pub/restaurant is very popular on Sunday when we visited and booking is very much advised. The whole place was taken up with diners eating Sunday lunch! Not much room left for the casual drinker though. With lamb on the menu one can understand its popularity and menu is reasonably priced although I would not call it cheap. Good food, well presented though not posh. Friendly staff to help with the dining experience.

Called today with friends for Sunday lunch, haven't been here since new owners took over, food was delicious from starter through to dessert. Staff were excellent and very friendly, we'll definitely be back!!!

Booked Sunday lunch for 16 Jan 2022. Place was packed. A bit of a wait for our lunch to arrive but 100% worth the wait. Delicious meat Veg and gravy and plenty of it. Would definately recommend . Excellent service too.

We had a family Christmas meal for 10 yesterday at the Eagle. All the family loved the Sunday roast which were delicious! Desserts were pretty special too and they offered a gluten free choice! Brilliant afternoon which was cost effective! Well done to all the team there 👏

Very nice food, very friendly staff. Fish and chips was amazing! Phoned up at very short notice during a busy lunch time and very helpful gentleman found us a table and made us feel very welcome.

Went for Sunday lunch with 3 friends. The meat was plentiful. The beef was extremely tender and tasty. Plenty of well cooked veg and plenty of gravy

First time for me to go there.Absolutely fantastic 👏.I had ribeye, it was cooked to perfection and very tasty. Has was the garlic sautéed potato's.My partner had the steak and ale pie and said it was great.Staff were helpful and friendly.Would highly recommend and will definitely be going back.
