The Fendrod in Swansea

Was very very busy today, waited over an hour for our lunch after ordering, but it was very nice when we got our meal.My only criticism is they definitely need more staff, both at the counter & in the kitchen.However I would recommend going there, it's inexpensive & the food was lovely. It is better to book to be sure of a table though.

We came for lunch on a vary rare child-free day to be greeted by a very miserable, ill-mannered waitress. We ordered a classic mixed grill and a mega mixed grill. Both came out, my husband straight away noticed that the rump steak had not been upgraded in line with the extra payment we made. A gentleman waiter apologised and went to the kitchen to request an 8oz rump to be cooked medium. The steak came out completely raw, so much so, it put me off my meal. I sent it back, no apology from the staff. It came back, still raw. Left the food! It is very cheap in price but as the saying goes 'you get what you pay for'. We have ate here several times and I'm sad to say, we will never return.

Came in this evening with a group of 10 of us we were late but still welcomed. The dark haired waitress was absolutely amazing and made us feel very welcome. Will definitely visit again on our annual holiday to wales

Beautiful food everytime. Friendly service. Lovely place to eat. I visit regularly and have never been disappointed.

Nice food but not a lot of vegan options... No starter or sides, a selection of 2-3 mains and one dessert that wasn't in stock at the time. I preferred the older menu that had more vegan options.

Popped in here for food yesterday. What a lovely restaurant hidden away. Had the backyard burger which was delicious and a Carling. Great price and friendly welcoming staff. Shall be recommending this place

So the food was lovely. The 2 hour wait was not. They forgot about us and re cooked the table after us' food. But they did redeem themselves, the food when it did come out was delicious and we did get a free desert and drink to make up for it.

Friendly service, food was tasty and served quickly.

Had another lovely lunch .great food at a fantastic price .and wonderful friendly service .would highly recommend.

Table Service via the app. Food was lovely, because of the service via the app, not a lot of interaction with the staff. They seemed friendly though.
