Super friendly staff and lovely pub atmosphere.

Was a bit quiet but I like that the beers was good and a great bar staff would recommend for a quiet drink or even if its busy it's still a great place!

·

I've known this pub in many different forms for over 40 years. Its had highs and lows, but the new tennant have a great plan to reinvigorate the pub. It's a great venue and, as a musician, one I really enjoy paying at.The bar has a good selection of beers and all drinks and there is a great new menu. Call in, you wont regret it.

Excellent pub and excellent mega karaoke session on Friday from 8pm till ..well..whenever!Very lovely and friendly landlady Helen who manages to keep control of a very friendly group of locals too.Made friends for life in there and will definately be going back to visit at some point.

The pub itself is good except any real ale for sale. The Sunday carvery run by someone else in the premises was not the best. Not much selection and empty potato section. When I asked can it be topped up the chef insisted on placing it himself on my plate. I thought a carvery is help yourself. Not a tight budget. Also the gravy was a bit like water

Called tonight as my son had thrown up all over himself and the car, to ask for some napkins or toilet roll, i understood it was too late to take him in to clean him up so had to go and ask for some. Only to be greeted by a frosty responce, no compassion, no help and stinking looks and attitude. Disgraceful. I will never step foot in this place again.
