The Gower Inn in Swansea

Visited the gower over the weekend with a few friends and the dogs after a walk.Staff were very friendly and attentive.There is a good range of dishes on the menu which are great value for the price.The dogs loved all the attention from the staff. Will definitely return next time we are in the area.

The food is God awful, though the ambienceand mellow music were nice.The "creamy mash potato" was actually a dry and lumpy crud, "glazed vegetables" were boiled veg which were, somehow, mushy and chewy at the same time. The gravy most probably from granules. The tepid lamb shank was garnished with a long hair.This isn't a place that I imagine gets many repeat visits.

Pretty average food but like many others, we received a parking fine despite verifying the parking stub given to us by the pub staff. The same also happened to several people in our group. Trying to appeal this is a nightmare and it seems we'll likely end up having to pay £160.I would avoid eating here as a result.

Delicious food and very friendly service. Nice touch having name on the table's reserved sign! Shame to see lots of reservations not turn up, but meant it was a bit quieter which was a nicer atmosphere. Ordered via an app, drinks delivered within minutes and food was soon after. Good for children. Remember to get a car parking voucher on your way out.

We stopped here for lunch whilst on holiday and sat outside. We had a Rump Steak Philly sandwich which came with a side salad and a portion of sweet potato fries and chicken and chorizo skewers.The portions were generous and the food was well cooked and tasted great! Would recommend!

Awesome place, very very accommodating for dogs.Even with blanket and toy!!. Food swift and pleasant. Beer on tap. Lots of parking. Brilliant Pub cannot recommend enough. 5 * guys and gals

Just popped in for a quick lunch on a wet Monday in October. Friendly, quick service and excellent value for money with the £6 lunch menu. Let's support this lovely local pub especially through the winter months. Food was first class. We'll bring the dog next time and make it part of a walk. Furry friends are very welcome.

Terrible. If you order fish and chips on the app dont expect to get chips and if you complain dont expect any improvement, even the manager who then promises to send chips instead sends a waiter to repeat the same story sorry you didnt pay for chips, pathetic. We ordered fish n chips ffs !!! Avoid this place, we had spectacular food and service in Ireland only to come home to this. The service is the worst we have had in 2 weeks. Avoid

Absolute pleasure to come back after not visiting for some years nowSorry, but we are on the north Gower, but it didn't disappoint and the menu was attractive and good valueThe Hunters chicken was very nicely presented and the profiteroles looked beautifulLovely company and a lovely evening in a lovely place. Thankyou Just want to add, the two stars were a total mis print, with the service and attention to detail, five stars were more in orderSorry l didn't press the button fast enough!!!
