I don't think we have enough words! The King Arthur is the most beautiful place it ticks every box.We got married here a little over a month ago (14/05/22) and it was quite literally perfection. All the staff are absolutely amazing, so thoughtful and friendly they all went above and beyond nothing we asked was out of reach and the little touches didn't go unnoticed.Everything was spot on from the beautiful accomodation and to the food of which all our wedding guests still rave about! I just cannot praise The King Arthur enough. We will always hold extremely fond memories and we can't thank the team enough for everything. My highest recommendation! All our loveMr & Mrs. Jones x

Went for a meal to celebrate wedding anniversary. Always thought it was dog friendly - not so.We had to sit outside to eat. Weather was OK but windy so food tends to get cold quickly. Not the same as it was 10 yrs ago. Staff not over enthusiastic. Waitress was great but guy standing in the door was not that welcoming.

If you're reading this and thinking about visiting, just do it! You won't be disappointed.Amazing pub, amazing food and amazing staff! We popped in for dinner and found the pub to be very busy with a wedding reception, hence we were informed that there were only tables outside. We requested if a table became free could we move inside as it was a bit chilly outside for our children. We were told that there were several people waiting, however very soon the kind lady came outside and found us in the large garden - she managed to find us a table inside.Menus very good, something for everyone. Food was top notch! We all really enjoyed our meals. Service was great, upon receiving meals we were asked if we wanted any sauces or anything else and our requests were completed quickly.Lovely setting with lots of local history and interesting bits and bobs on the walls.Only criticism is that it was very busy, but then that's got to be expected with such a brilliant place!

Dinner with Friends. This seems a popular place for drinks and evening entertainment generally. We are here on a week's break and booked in for a meal. We could only have a table at 6.15, but we did notice 4 other unused tables through to our departure time which we thought strange.Service was good, we all ordered Fish and Chips served with salad and we requested peas. Large portions reasonably priced.

Went here for evening meal with the family so can't comment on hotel side of business. Lots of tables outside the front of the hotel, all in the evening sunshine. Only tables outside that food was served to were under the canopy on the front of the building, which unfortunately were in the shade so a little chilly, however there were heaters over the table which helped. Menu had something for everyone in the family, which helped. Ordered at the bar and food was with us within 15 minutes. The amount and quality of the food was amazing, and all members of the family commenting on how great their meal was; unusual. Still had space for a dessert, which again was fabulous; Joe's ice cream so good. Would definitely come again if in the area, and would recommend to family and friends.

My husband and I enjoyed a 3 night stay at the King Arthur Hotel to celebrate our recent marriage. Lovely spacious room with great views. Breakfast and evening meal were excellent. Staff very accommodating and friendly. There is a restaurant, bar and outside seating area. What a lovely hotel in a wonderful location, ideal for a relaxing break.

Myself and my husband had our (postponed) wedding reception here; the hotel was absolutely top class, Annelise is a total asset to the business and is without a doubt the most professional and efficient person I have ever dealt with. From the start of our wedding planning up until the day after it was an absolute pleasure to deal with all the staff, and Annelise just made it so easy for us!The food on our wedding day was perfect, and we have had millions of compliments about the venue, the day, and the service. We are so grateful to King Arthur for making our wedding day the most perfect day of our lives and would recommend the hotel as a wedding venue to any couple considering getting married here. The only downside is that our wedding is now over and we won’t get to experience it again!

Got a last minute reservation, and so glad we did - welcoming staff, excellent food and service, and little birthday candles in my bread and butter pudding to boot! Although we had a 10 & 12 year old in tow, they were treated with the same courtesy as us - all good news. Booked in again for 2 days time - well worth a visit

Food was really good. Had fish and chips. Never seen a fish so big couldn't eat it all. Didn't have to wait Well worth a visit but book a table before you go Friday night was extremely busy....
