The Kingsbridge Inn in Swansea

Came here on a Friday evening which I appreciate is busy but did not anticipate how long we’d be waiting. After being seated we weren’t given a menu so had to locate one ourselves from the bar, then took about 20 minutes before our drinks order was taken, a further 20 minutes before our food order, and finally we then waited 45 minutes after our plates were cleared to be asked what desserts we wanted! I’ve always tipped whenever i eat out but unfortunately i just couldn’t justify it this time. Most of the staff also seemed in a mood or like we were an inconvenience. The only good thing i can say is that our food was nice and came out fairly soon after ordering it.

Been here a few times. The first couple of times the mixed grill was beautiful. The last two visits were terrible. The staff were hard-faced and not very pleasant, as if the job was a strain on them. I ended up having my mixed grill for free due to the gammon being undercooked, let alone being cooked well done.All-in-all, a nice place with beautiful furniture, nice music and warm atmosphere. Kingsbridge gets a 3 star rating for me due to it’s unpredictability in regard to it’s food and the odd ignorant staff.

Excellent food, always look forward to going for a meal at the Kingsbridge, never been disappointed.

Excellent evening with good friends in the private room upstairs. Staff were cheerful, helpful and efficient and the food was very good, too. I recommend the Kingsbridge for any private group up to 14 people and, having eaten in the main restaurant on previous occasions, I would recommend this venue whole-heartedly. .

Great choice on menu, delicious meals and really friendly staff. Very good ambiance. Well worth another visit.

Highly recommended. Food was outstanding, everything cooked to perfection 10/10. Reasonably priced too. Staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. Thank you for a lovely afternoon. We will definitely be calling again. Steak & Ale pie you must try 😋 delicious

Didn't even plan to go here Saturday evening, so glad we did, food was amazing! Have already recommended a few people and would definitely come again!!

Delicious good quality food in a relaxed environment . Staff were all friendly and helpful. Wheelchair and disabled accessable which is great . I had the kingsbridge burger and it was beautiful!

Amazing food and service like always. Highly recommend this place.
