The Marquis Arms in Swansea

My parents moved local to this pub so we decided to try it out. It's gorgeous inside for a pub! The staff were very lovely. I didn't enjoy what I had to eat, not because anything was wrong with it just because I thought I'd try something new. Everyone's food was delicious and cooked perfectly. 10/10 would recommend going :D

We visited on a busy Saturday during a Welsh Six Nations game and the service was fantastic! All staff members were so attentive and friendly despite the fact that the pub was busy. The food quality was incredible, can’t rate them highly enough!

Had lunch here with a friend and it was delicious. Hadn't been back in a good few years after a bad experience but their new menu is great. Had the grilled prawns with veggies and rice. Would definitely have it again.

Happen to call in yesterday with wife on returning from Singleton hospital. Wife ordered sirloin with Diane sauce which she absolutely loved. I on the other hand had the misfortune to order fish and chips. The only part that resembled a fish was the shape. Batter that was so soggy it must have been steamed, not deep fried, chips half cooked that you could bend end to end. The mushy peas were good, though the the addition of a touch of mint would have elevated the flavour. The service was good even though nearly full and other diners seemed fully happy with their meal. Maybe it was me, but that fish was in a porly state.

A cheap & cheerful place, quite large and tastefully decorated. It has a dining area separated from the actual pub and a decent sized outdoor covered deck with additional seating. We made a 12pm reservation and our table was ready when we arrived, the wait staff were lovely and the food was served quite quickly. There's quite an extensive menu offering the usual 'pub grub' favourites for those wishing to eat but it's just a nice to just hang out for a drink with friends.

Went out for a meal with my partners grandparents and our son. Staff were very polite and helpful. Food came out in good time, boiling hot and absolutely delicious. Highly recommend having food here. We will definitely be back.

Had a wonderful meal on Wednesday evening here. The waiting time was very quick. Drinks were served in no time at all. Starters were amazing! Highly recommend the Hunters Chicken Nachos.Main meals came as soon as we were ready and the steaks were cooked perfectly.Special thanks to the guy who served our food ( we were on table 45) and made sure we had everything we needed. Sorry I didn’t catch your name.Can’t wait to return! 😊

This is 100% the best Sizzler we have ever been to. In fact they set the standard for any pub. The staff are exemplary. The staff are so polite and care about their customers. We left feeling valued - these have set the standard in my opinion. Despite being so busy their manners and customer service were second to none! Really looked after my family even though it was an unexpected visit and we hadn't booked, we received a glowing welcome. We will be visiting again soon.
