The Mermaid Cafe Bar & Restaurant in Swansea

Very nice little eatery, great breakfast, very friendly staff. I'll go again next time I'm in Swansea.

Stumbled across The Mermaid after a beach walk with three dogs and four adults. What a great find! Great service, food and ambience. We spent a very lovely few hours in there and liked it so much, we’ve booked in for Sunday lunch…have high hopes for that! Thank you to all the wonderful team at The Mermaid!

Even Felix loved the Sunday Carvery and he hardly likes anything. Was a great meal by the ocean with three meats and lots of fixings. Three horse radish was delicious and packed a punch. Very kind service and they let us stay late to deal with baby issues.

Really friendly staff, especially with the dog! Food was fantastic and prompt. Even though we were sat outside the staff kept coming to check on us. My second time here and definitely not my last! :)

Nice atmosphere with both lovely food and service. Everyone very friendly and welcoming. The pasta is exceptional and good vegetarian options too not to mention the Banoffee Pie. Been here twice so far and will be back for sure.

Fab turkey Sunday lunch today with friends..Lovely carvery. Could have other choice of meals but we all fancied a roast. The deserts were awesome too.

Clean, friendly, inviting atmosphere. The food is well cooked. Not much vegan choice and no masks otherwise this eatery would have had 5 stars! Oh and dogs are welcome!

A lovely restaurant. We choose to sit outside with the dog, however we were welcome inside and under the outdoor heating. Nice and polite staff. We had the seafood platter which was perfectly cooked and plenty for two for a lunch with a bowl of chips.

I picked the Mermaid for our Ruby wedding Anniversary celebration with our friends and family. The food is always fabulous but the staff are absolutely amazing. When booking for a group from a 2 year old up to 80 year old it can be difficult to please everyone ! but the staff made it easy and couldn’t have been more accommodating. Thank you Stuart and all the staff that were involved in making our day such a success.

First time coming here and the food was gorgeous and extremely lovely staff! 10/10 would recommend
