The River House in Swansea

Never been here before, booked quite late, and considering it was Mothers Day was pleased to get a table. When we arrived we saw it was a fixed price menu (3x courses) for £28.95 so tbh we were not expecting too much. However the food was very good indeed we all had the roast and everything was cooked perfectly. The beef was tender and perfectly pink and the gravy was scrumptious. The sticky toffee pudding was yummy.

Fantastic food and excellent service! Couldn't fault it. Would highly recommend. Photos added of starter Florentine fishcake, main 12hour belly pork and dessert chocolate fondant.

The Riverhouse is a very lovely venue in a brilliant setting beside the River Tawe in Swansea. The staff were very friendly and extremely efficient. I chose to sit outside and take advantage of the sunny weather and blue skies at the same time feeling safe with fresh air during this pandemic. I would encourage people to visit the Riverhouse to lift spirits. What a lovely place.

Lovely restaurant with lovely custormer service. It was my first time in a nice restaurant (I didn't know what most of the things in the menu were if I'm honest 😅).Nonetheless the waiters were helpful when I asked about the dishes and reccomendations, I have to add the language skills the gentleman had, pleased to speak in Spanish with someone!Dishes were served on a Sunday:Starter-CalamariMain-BeefDessert-Chocolate lava cake with vainilla ice creamWould definitely come back, I reccomend!

This was our first visit with fantastic service from start to finish. The quality and portion size of the food was excellent and I have no reservations in recommending it.

We visited for just drinks and although they were a little expensive, I'd say it was worth it for the setting. We had a table right next to the river which was nice, and probably the best part about the experience. Unfortunately they don't have an app, so you have to go to the bar everytime you want to order, which is slightly inconvenient. Overall I'd recommend it if you're looking for a quiet drink.

Went for Sunday lunch, huge portions, staff very efficient, well spaced tables. Prices were surprisingly reasonable for the quality and quantity of the food. Will be back!
