The Seafarer in Swansea

Really great food. We had a selection of fish and chips but also some veggie options. lots of care and very high standard food.

Always bought from this chip shop, but feel owners are getting greedy with their prices, £3 for the smallest scoop of ice cream I’ve ever seen in my life, And who in their right mind pays £3.50 for chips, no wonder there’s always a queue in the gift shop for ice cream

Was going to go today (Saturday 28/5). Beautiful sunny day and they are closed! Will give this place a miss and shop-owners claim they are hard up! Pfff!

Very surprised at the reviews here, sad to say that was the worst fish and chips I've ever had and it cost £20 for 2 portions! The fish tasted bland and suspect it was frozen, the chips were bland too, just zero flavour or quality ingredients. Shame as the staff were lovely!

Visited Port Eynon on a family day out. Ordered battered cod, scampi, pie and chips at around 16:50 (Tuesday), this was £21 - expensive in comparison to our local chip shop. The scampi and chips were nice but the battered cod tasted chemically like cleaning products and the pie pastry was raw and the middle cold. I went to return to the shop for a refund but it had closed at circa 17:00, google states a weekday closing time of 20:00. Very disappointed with our visit.

Please make sure you get the right fish and chip shop. This place is great, food is lovely, fish and chips well cooked and tasty. I think next door must get the reviews for here, as we had the misfortune of trying next door when these guys had sold out... (There was my clue) next door The captains table was shockingly bad. Please come here instead, don't waste money next door no matter how hungry you are.

Great Fish and Chip shop on the sea front in Port Eynon. There is a large car park very near by and ample seating outdoors for you to eat your food with great views across the bay. There is a wide variety of foods available, and the staff are extremely friendly.

There's no Messing here - The Seafarer is without a doubt the best place to go for fish and chips and an Ice Cream - what I had today was outstanding it was bloody brilliant the fish is cooked to order and whilst waiting I was dribbling on the floor! LOL - the Staff are lovely including Anne the owner and also Sue as well this is the place to be without a doubt! :-)

Rung from Oxwich bay as we wanted proper fish n chips, 10 minute drive and Sue the sister in law was lovely. Took our order and we drove over. One of the best fish n chips I’ve had in a long time , massive portion too and proper chippy chips ! The curry sauce was delicious too. Hope the season treats you well . Will definitely be back.
