My husband and I took our 5 year old granddaughter here as she loves a carvery. The food was very well cooked and the choice of meats and vegetables were second to noneThe only disappointing thing was the roast beef. It was so gristly and tough that it was inedible (although our dog enjoyed it with a bit of chewing).Maybe we should have called someone over to report it !?However, we will definitely go there again as Toby Carvery is the best carvery we have had.The staff were very nice and clearly worked very hard.

The Greet & meet not booked but very helpful, manager showed us to our seats explaining ‘Luke’ will be looking after but he is just serving someone at the moment but he will be with you. AIts nice to be kept informed and a few minutes later Luke, with a smile greeted us welcoming us pleasant nice service manner. Obviously a changeover time in staff because we then had Natasha looking after the area we were in. Natasha was also extremely pleasant with outstanding customer service experience. We have eaten in many Toby’s across the South Of England and Wales but this Carvery is undoubtedly the Very Best for excellence in great Toby Food all cooked to perfection, the display was neat, clean & tidy. The customer service was OUTSTANDING. Thank you, we will definitely recommend this Carvery, especially as we are managing a campsite within 15 minutes drive from here.

Always love the food here. Back to helping yourself which is always the best way in places like this. We went for breakfast and everything was delicious. Sausages, bacon, eggs, beans, mushrooms, potatoes. My daughter had a Yorkshire pudding with hers! I'm not sure that should be on a breakfast plate but she enjoyed 🤷🏼♂️Highly recommend this place to anyone, especially as the price was low compared to breakfasts elsewhere 👍

Dropped in for a carvery meal last Saturday lunchtime. The food was absolutely delicious, hot and fresh. Staff...from the chef behind the carvery, the young lady who looked after our table, in fact all we came into contact with were a delight, friendly, and welcoming. Definitely be back, and can't wait to do so. Many thanks all.......

Simon, our carver, was beyond excellent. He came from behind the counter and brought my delicious roast beef dinner over to my table after adding condiments. I am disabled and wheelchair bound.

Attended here yesterday for a meal with my mother and daughter. I have given the star purely for how kind and polite Emily our server was and the chef serving the food was super helpful. The deserts were also very good and the turkey was tastyThat's all the positives I could give because I have spent the night in the most intensive pain I have ever experienced (and I've been through labour)I was the only one to have a prawn cocktail. And the only one to have spent the night expelling the contents of my stomach while wishing for death. The food quality was really poor and evidently something wasn't quite right with the prawns.I won't be returning :(

Had lovely Sunday carvery. Choice of 4 meats (can have them all) giant Yorkshire pudding, a big range of fresh veg (peas, carrot, cabbage, cauliflower cheese, roast potatoes, mashed potatoes, stuffing, swede).Sat by the door with a wheelchair user, and the door was open so a bit cold but the customers were queuing to get in, it's so lovely and the pub was full. Good dessert options too but I was too full for one. Lovely staff, clean toilets, sheltered smoking area, big free car park.

Visited the carvery today with my wife. The food was amazing as usual, but the main reason for this review was our waiter, Ethan. He was very attentive, polite, and was happy to engage in conversation instead of making us feel like we needed to hurry up and finish our meal. A very pleasant young man, and a credit to your staff. Thank you Ethan!

Good experience, friendly staff able to seat us in a quiet area to allow for children with additional needs. The food was good it would have been 5 stars had the chef taken more interest other than saying "don't know wasn't here when it was made" after being asked about dairy products due to allergies. Other than this all good and the take the blue light card which is a plus on the money side

Fantastic service, and very accommodating to a special request for seating. Food was brilliant, especially for the price. The meat was a little bit fatty, but again, for the price, you can't complain.
