We went on a Monday night and booked in for the bottomless deal. It was my first time I had been to the verve, i had heard good things. We had a good night, think that was the company tho. but all our meals were cold, and I mean cold, they offered to warm it up for us but no offence I had chicken and no way are u warming that bk up for me. They should of offered to do it again. The waitress was lovely. We had no discount for all of us leaving our food, just a free shot each wow. The reason they offered was because the kitchen had just opened. So be warned don't be the first customers in through the door!!!

Fantastic staff, especially James, lovely friendly gentleman, extremely helpful, couldn't do enough for us, food exceptional, service exceptional, will absolutely be going back.

Recent visit was ok. Went in the afternoon, very quiet, had a drink, went to get another and stood at bar for 5 mins with no sign of any staff, so left.In other visits in recent months things haven't been great. Had a very poor Sunday lunch on one occasion. On another occasion it took so long to get service at table (on a Sunday afternoon) we left without even ordering. Staff seem new, inexperienced, and mostly uninterested. Real shame as used to love the Sunday lunch here, staff were always attentive and friendly. Seems to have lost its way a little.

New favourite place in the Uplands. Come here between 1200 and 1900 for happy hour where all drinks are half price. Incredible! Staff are great here as well. No place to park though.

Went to Verve 37 on Monday evening for a quiet birthday meal for my boyfriend.I had visited the previous year with a friend and we had had a fantastic tapas and meal. The welcome was warm, the staff friendly. On the basis of this previous experience, I booked for Monday.Since my previous visit, things have rapidly gonr down hill. The waitress was friendly etc.The tapas would have been lovely if it wasn't served lukewarm. The only thing that was hot were the mac and cheese bites. My main meal of chicken tikka breast was overcooked, lukewarm and dry. My partners meal was edible but again, lukewarm. The worst part of the evening was the other party next to us, which consisted of two couples whose foul language and loud conversation would not have been out of place in a prison yard. Seeing as the place was almost empty , i cannot understand why the food was soo poorly cooked and that the management could not ask the rough element to tone their behaviour and language down.Following this experience, myself and a large party of friends have now decided not to bother to book our Beaujolais day out there and will look for somewhere more welcoming and appropriate.

Absolutely stunning, we chose to celebrate here due to the fabulous reviews and we are so glad we did, gorgeous food and stunning fresh cocktails so much better than watered down versions in other places, fab staff beautiful and clean restaurant and bar, we will be back

Absolutely superb from start to finish! We booked the bottomless banquet for a party of 6 as a birthday celebration. We were served immediately upon being seated by friendly and attentive staff, the food and drinks arrived promptly and we even took our own birthday cake which was no issue. One of our party is pregnant and she was well looked after and enjoyed some fab mocktails. We didn't manage to stay for our full 2.5 hour slot due to being too full to eat or drink anymore and believe me, we can eat!!! The spicy tortillas, mac and cheese bites and cheesy garlic bread are amazing and the Godfather cocktail is brill! All in all we had the most wonderful evening and we look forward to returning!

My favourite place! Love the tapas offer! However shame the minted lamb chops have shrunk :-( . Staff are fab, chef is and the place itself is welcoming: decor is rustic and cozy.

Avoid at all costs. We visited for an early lunch, just after Verve 37 had opened for service on a Sunday. Uplands is a really vibrant, trendy suburb with lots of great bars and eateries. Verve 37 was empty while all the neighbouring restaurants were packed (we should have taken the hint). We were told several times that the cleaners had not turned up that morning so downstairs toilets were “carnage” and out of use. Also, available tables were restricted due to a lack of cleaning. Despite it being on the menu, we were told that Sunday lunch was not available as the chef had walked out earlier that week (sounds like an employee-friendly establishment!) Who would be cooking whatever meal we did order, I wondered? I had a grossly overcooked burger with some cool, limp french fries. My guests had some decent-looking chicken and lamb tapas but the spicy Spanish roasted potatoes were soggy. Most worrying was the state of our waitress’ apron. It looked as though she had come straight from emptying the bins and servicing a family hatchback. A very disappointing experience all round.

We had a lovely afternoon of Tapas and prosecco. The food was tasty and well presented and the staff were friendly and helpful. Would recommend.
