Ashbridge Inn in Torfaen

Very friendly and polite staff. Food was average.Restaurant was very clean. Big thank you to whoever put smiley faces on my eggs in the morning! I needed that :)

Best place to go for a cooked breakfast! Lots of continental choice, and choose your own cooked. Really great, and the best thing is children eat for free with paying adult! Considering they don't eat much, it's a great incentive knowing I'm not going to waste money on them eating a piece of toast or a pancake.

Easy parking and greeted by friendly staff, who managed a busy lunchtime well. There was a wait for service, more so with the starter, but despite this it was an enjoyable lunch in lovely surroundings meaning we could chat and catch up. Tables are well spaced.

We had a lovely meal, ordered with Charlotte, who was pleasant and friendly. I had the carvery, roast beef, my sister and husband had curry. The beef, vegetables were cooked just right. The desserts were nice too. Altogether a relaxing and lovely time.

First time to this restaurant as staying at attached premier inn. Can’t really fault it , clean and nice interior with very welcoming & friendly staff. The food was great , really tasty and huge portions. Great value for money and looking forward to breakfast tomorrow

Our family went to the Ashbridge for breakfast with other relatives. If you pay for cooked breakfast, you also have access to anything from the continental menu. You can also order as much as you want but found the standard 2 of everything more than enough. As a bonus, children eat free with every adult breakfast. £18 for 5 is a bargain and the quality was good

6 of us had a meal at the Ashbridge tonight. Food was piping hot, plentiful and very tasty. Service was excellent, we were looked after by Rob all evening, what a character and he didn’t stop looking after his customer’s needs all night. We will be returning soon ❤️

Lovely food, great server. Such fab value. The gammon was fantastic. Everybody loved their food. 2 meals for 8.99 on early bird menu.

Would certainly recommend this place. Friendly and approachable staff.The food was perfectly cooked and portion size was enough. All in all the experience was very enjoyable and will return again.
