*Written on behalf of my mother*Went in this morning for coffee and a tea cake (plus a quiet 5 minutes to myself). Coffee came promptly, however, the tea cake followed between 15 and 20 minutes later. It was stone cold. This was because the three members of staff were too busy arguing, debating who was "talking about who, behind each other's back" and loudly swearing every other word. There was a family in, with two young children, having to listen to bad language being used by members of staff. Service was poor at best as all they wanted to do was argue about "who was saying what about who". I complained at the time, no manager there (what a surprise!). If it was me, I would sack the three of them! Definitely not a great atmosphere to sit and have a coffee - wouldn't recommend to anybody!

I genuinely feel frustrated by this place. It has great potential but not enough attention to detail is given. The Food is ok and so is the Atmosphere but you can see that care isn’t taken when sourcing ingredients, cleaning and upkeep of premises.I feel for staff members because they constantly look under pressure.

I have met my friends here for years and rarely had a bad experience. Staff our freindly and food taste very good. Only reasons i wouldn't give it 5 star is because a few times the service has been a little slow.

Firstly, I gave 3 stars as the food arrived hot as did the coffee. Which were both lovely.The bald headed arrogant man serving, who couldn't be BOTHERED TO DELIVER our coffees to our table, is why I didn't give a full 5 stars. I came in to order, I was looking at the menu on the wall only to be told to move on the other counter. I said I was looking at the menu and he then carried on serving my friend. We were given a table number and the kind female waitress brought our food to our table. The bald headed guy shouted out our table number and stood there holding out drinks. Me being disabled, my friend went to get them. His manners are awful, please send to some sort of class on customer service.Oh and had my friend not challenged the breakfast special offer for £3.90, we'd have charged a lot more. He doesn't even know what's on offer. Appalling.

Staff very rude. The man behind the counter serving said can't be bothered today and it's showed none of the cakes were labelled and when I asked for a chocolate chip muffin the women Maria rudely replied what chocolate chip they are blueberry. The latte coffee tasted like boiled milk. Paid 6.30 for coffee -milk tea and a chocolate muffin. Not worth it. Staff and attitudes would have to change before I visit again. No wonder there are lots of empty tables in here.

3 of us went in for food and drink and moved a table together for all of us to sit together for then one of the ladies who was cleaning the tables at time to move it away from us because she had to use it. the time we had our drinks and food which wernt great that table wasnt used. very rude staff member won't b returning!!

Awful if I could give this a zero I would . £2.95 for egg and chips yet £5.95 for HAM egg and chips what a rip of . Had ham salad yesterday the ham was wafer thin the bread roll was stale . And the lettuce was Brown. Then the manager was on his phone the whole time . Also had to wait 15 minutes for our cuppa tea . Then the staff were arguing out loud in front of customers coz 1 man waited over 20 mis for his hot drink and wanted hid money back which I don't blame him .. stinking dirty cafe won't be returning

Never judge a book by its cover.. the place is warm and friendly. Arrived for breakfast with my partner and child. Ordering a reasonable priced big breakfast & breakfast omelette.However had to clean my own table. The food served was poor. An when questioned as to why it's was cold. Staff polite and helpful and happy to MICROWAVE the contents.If I had wanted a MICROWAVE MEAL I would have gone to the local shops and purchased one far cheaper.Needless to say I would not currently recommend the food here.
