Crow's Nest in Torfaen

Dull place, looks very tired. Menu's look as though they've been in use for years. Tears, folds etc. The quality of the food was good. Would summarise this pub as cheap and cheerful. Sorry not again.

It was that awful that they do not deserve a star from us. Our Sunday lunch experience was terrible. The conservatory was very cold despite asking for the heater nothing was done and the restaurant stunk of raw fish!! Never again . Our first and last visit .Save your hard earned money by not visiting this restaurant.

Nice pub, good staff good access to TV sport. Nice menu. Good nosh. Has had work done recently. Sadly the car park has shrunk but there's more room for drinking outside due to the new tables.

Hour and half wait when hardly any customers , food so overcooked we just about cut kids pizza with a steak knife, chicken Italian was so crusty due to being fried well over time, seasoned fries had no taste. Food absolutely shocking, dreadful portions. Definitely wont ever return..was better before the closure to revamp

I've never had a negative experience here. Busy days will see you waiting a little while for food, perhaps, but its worth the wait. Our family of five can get meals and drinks that usually stays under £50 which is quite a lot less than other restaurants (I'm looking at YOU harvester!).

Very pleasant. Staff were very friendly and helpful and polite. The o nly problem I had was the seat cushion was uncomfortable. The cushion didn't reach the edge of the seat so was sat on the wooden frame which caused pins and needles in mylegs which caused me pain as I already have a problem with my leg due to having a stroke last year.The food was very nice although I don't like the black heavy plate which is sat in wood.

Great atmosphere, service was fast and the server was polite and engaging. The food was great, the only issue we had was with the app online but that was mainly me not understanding how it worked right away. Will be returning again!

May have just had a bad experience here. The staff were very nice but the food was disappointing. In all fairness they were extremely busy. Had to send the dessert back due to it not being cooked properly and cold. Its also a little difficult to park in this area unless you are lucky to find a space.

Shocking roast dinner. Never seen anything like it, 40 min wait for what I can only describe as a microwave meal. Gravy like wallpaper paste, roasted potatoes had been deep fried I could go on.... I would really consider taking it off your menu. £38 for 3 roasts and 3 soft drinks. What a waste of money..
