Cwrt Henllys in Torfaen

Nice place, accommodation is decent as far as I know, food was lovely and the facilities of a decent standard but owner and bar staff seem a bit of a lettuce..good enough for a family afternoon meal or an after work pint but other than that don’t book or any other occasion (especially not stags/hens or more than 5 blokes)

Nice little hotel, would be better if breakfast was catered for in some way, not even a cup ot tea.

This is an amazing venue with great staff and excellent food/drink.We had our after christening party here and we are so grateful to everyone at the Cwrt Henllys for putting on such an amazing spread.Everything was very fresh and all guests commented on the quality and quantity of food.I would like to thank Tracey, Jodie and team for all of their effort to make our babies day even more special.I would recommend this venue for Christenings, weddings, birthdays and work events.There are beautiful rooms on site of you want to stay over as well.

Four of us played pool here, nice layout. Good atmosphere and facilities.Huge house dog in the bar, clearly loved by everyone.

We had our Mam’s wake today at Cwrt Henllys Hotel.Absolutely stunning! Tracey and her team done us proud The buffet was beautifully presented and plenty of it too.Highly recommend this venue, value for money, immaculate in all area’s.👍👍👍👍👍

Lovely mothers day meal. Carvery meal was very nice and reasonably priced. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Recommended.

Lovely dining room with marqueed ceiling, with plenty of space for the comfort of guests. Not cramped and all huddled up together. Service unhurried and relaxed. Excellent carvery Sunday lunch with quality meat and large choice of vegetables. Desserts to die for. I drank coffee as I was driving..it was weak and insipid,one of those pod machine things I think. I'd have loved a cafetiere and some cream. I will definitely return but next time I'll drink wine and return home for some decent coffee. Well done Cwrt Henllys. I'll be back!

Didn't expect a carvery, but that is what they serve.Food was OK, but would have preferred to have served myself with veg - felt a bit like school.A little uncomfortable sat in the middle of conservatory surrounded by empty tables.Hard to score.It was just ok.
