Dorallt Inn in Torfaen

A great genuine olde worlde pub, with flagstone floor and large beer garden (from where you can see across the channel). Just off the lane that leads to the mountains so a brilliant destination. Helpful and friendly staff too. Definitely recommended.

Large pub. Visiited for Sunday lunch. Our table for two was sandwiched between a party of 16..there was no personal space and we felt very hemmed in. Dinner was decent but the vegetables were still raw, _ and we like them al dente .. the screeching, shouting and general bonhomie of the party made it impossible to speak with one another. So we ate up and moved out. Couldn't wait to get out for Ibuoprofen for my thumping headache. However, I would give it another go, as it wasn't their fault..maybe it would be more relaxed next time.....

Cracking place, great food drink, and people. A wondeful Welsh welcome. If you haven't been already - go :) If you happening to be lucky enough to be there on a Sunday for a roast - you're in for a treat!

Was spending the day visiting family so booked a table for Sunday lunch. Food was delicious. Pic of dessert, apple crumble with custard which was amazing! Will be back again when in Cwmbran.

A very enjoyable evening with my Cousin, in a friendly atmosphere. Food was good, the staff were excellent, and the Landlord was very welcoming. Highly recommend a visit.

Good food extensive menu and a reasonable lunch time menu. Fantastic service. Would recommend it to anyone. Menu includes vegan and vegetarian.

Had several takeaways during lockdown which have been very enjoyable and last night was able to sit in the pub garden to eat. Main meal and desserts lovely. Staff friendly. Felt safe (covid). Definitely recommend.
