Always enjoyed the food from these guys! Too notch service and top notch grub!I’m always happy to wait a little longer as I know they are busy due to high demand, but hey, wouldn’t you!?Keep smashing it guys, can’t wait for my next lot of dirty fries 😍😍

Food arrived at exactly the 1 hour estimate and was hot and fresh. The burgers are such good quality, will definitely be back!

Our burgers were amazing and the order arrived complete, hot and very tasty but two and a half hours is a long time to wait for food, especially as I live less than half a mile from their premises, and we had no communication to explain why there was such a delay. Don't promise a 1 hour delivery if you can't achieve this.

Ordered from here multiple times over the past year. Enjoy the food every single time and its always fresh. The delivery is a little longer than it says usually but can never fault the temperature when it arrives. Will continue to order in future!

Good quality homemade food. Fresh and tasty. Only think about it think you should have a more friendly approach for collections as keeping the door closed and not having a reception area is a little off putting.

Food was delivered very quickly was all piping hot burgers are banging best I have tasted in a long time we ordered more than we should have lol as once the burgers were eaten wasn't much room for the wedges and onion rings still we managed best food about hands down

Mixed thoughts. Chips are huge portion and delicious. Toppings on burger were nice but the burger patty itself was dry and bland. Tasted like bland minced beef, not pleasant and couldn't eat more than half as the flavour was off-putting. Pulled chicken loaded fries were big and had plenty of toppings. Unsure if I'll order from them again, burger patty just needs work. £35 to not eat half of it as the burger was horrible

Food took two hours to arrive, with no communication to explain the delay. When it arrived, my "mango and lime chicken burger" was missing salad, onions, and mango and lime mayo. Instead it had really revolting green stuff attached (presumably the now wilted "salad") and sat in some flavourless orange grease. My husband's pizza was greasy. The "rustic skin-on" chips, which had been priced, I had assumed, because they were hand-cut, turned out to be standard catering fare. An expensive, very poor meal, which arrived far too late. When I attempted to raise the issues with Gourmet Kitchen via Facebook message I was told it was my own fault for having "altered" their dishes - although I had simply chosen options on their own website. No apologies from them, and the attitude was cocky and unpleasant. If we had had this meal in a sit-down restaurant we would have sent it back. Appalling lack of customer care and responsibility.Edit: You will notice, dear readers of reviews, that whenever this charming owner receives a bad review he immediately accuses the reviewer of lying. I have told no lies and I'm very happy for our private Facebook messages to be made public. I initially contacted the owner via private messenger in the hope that something could be said or done to compensate me for the wasted money. I didn't ask directly for a refund but had hoped that this would be offered as a matter of course. I have gone public with my reviews after his complete lack of support, which is now visible in his reply here. A supportive response would normally include the words "I'm very sorry" - his did not. Now his response is "lol" followed by a mis-spelling of my name, and the threat of legal action. I have only found his response on the Just Eat website by searching for it and had nothing from him directly. I received a meal two hours after placing an order which did not conform to the description on the website. If a restaurant receives too many orders or is understaffed it should inform the customers that there is a problem. They did not. I did not order a peri-peri burger. I ordered a mango and lime peri-peri chicken burger without the bun. I received something which was not recognisable by the website description. There was no "bed of salad", there was no "red onion" and there was no visible or discernible mayonnaise. I was also unable to detect any peri-peri seasoning. Other establishments who provide a dish involving hot meat and salad and sauces generally package them separately to avoid the issues this owner clearly doesn't care about. There were no warnings on the website about choosing to customise their food with their own options. If the options don't work, don't offer them and then criticise the customer for making the choice. The pizza was so greasy that simply picking up a piece left my hand covered. This is not acceptable. As I stated above, I assumed that the "rustic skin-on" fries must be hand-cut because of the price involved. I have complained to Trading Standards. If I am being accused of lying, I will myself take legal action.

I have to say my food was absolutely lovely. The delivery time wasn't very long which was good and my food was hot. I had the cheese burger and the ciabatta. I also noticed they left a little note on the ciabatta box saying "enjoy 😆" with the emoji. Which I think is really sweet. I would highly recommend this takeaway
