Greenhouse in Torfaen

Well sorry to say not to good tonight. Waited for our starter for over an hour. Only some Nachos after one hour still not arrived. It gets you down when people come in 30 mins later & get their main meal & you're still sat there. Fair do to the girl when we gave up & left I said don't worry about the food we're off I still owe for drinks & she said not to worry after i told her our feelings about our experience. I wouldn't have been to cheesed off but it was a special a occasion. 2 stars for letting us off the drinks.

As usual, lovely staff, good food, beer and fab coffee. Can get very busy on sunny days. Huge secluded beer garden 👍

Stopped in for food with two colleagues mid evening on a Wednesday, was busy but they still accommodated us. Staff were friendly, the food was very good and they had a good selection of drinks including a few cask beers. The pub itself was tidy and well presented, the price was also very agreeable.

Lovely Sunday lunch, plenty of veggies and meat with enough gravy as we wanted. Dessert was amazing, I recommend the apple pie, you get your own individual pie! Service was great and didn’t feel rushed at all. Would recommend and we will be going back.

I have noticed a real drop in food quality and standards over the last 12 months. I live 500 meters away and have been perhaps 20 times in a year. I think that may be the last.Soggy onion rings , under cooked chips. Just real basic stuff like having to hunt for a waiter. I loved this pub 12 months ago . Shame really . Looking for something better.

Tasty food and lovely service. Would go back again. Nothing was too much effort for the staff. I felt more than welcome 🤗

Lovely meal tonight. It was great to see it so busy, service was amazing and friendly. Sorry i didn't get the name of the person waiting on our table tonight she done a fab job, each time we've been she is always so cheerful.

Disappointing, ordered fish finger sandwich waited a while....others who came in after us had their meals before us. When it arrived bread not particularly fresh and poor quality there wasn't a fish finger in one half sandwich just scrap end. Had to advise staff who didn't even take plate from me just asked kitchen to cook some more. Waited 10 mins then was given a pot of 2 fish goujons to put in my other half of sandwich. Would have preferred a fresh sandwich and a genuine apology. I appreciate it was half term and on busy side but after all it was only a sandwich not that difficult to make.
