Had Sunday lunch here a couple of weeks ago and it was superb. Pretty small pub so not too busy and nice family atmosphere. Food was superb, service excellent and quick. Nice friendly staff. Easy to find and some parking at back. Definitely worth a visit for a nice relaxed time.

Father's Day Lunch! First visit here today. We had three delicious courses. Great, varied menu and everything was delicious and plentiful. Had great service from Chloe and a young man. Will be back soon! Thanks to all at the Lower New Inn ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Food was beautiful mine especially was so delicious and good quality beer and lager not watered down just right nice and smooth. Fairplay to the staff though it was especially busy when we went and we weren't the best customers kids running around a lot of shouting talking over each other. The staff held it all together and were very professional I would of cracked.

A nice establishment and some of the old building charm has been maintained. Comfortable and airy dining area.Food is expensive for the area in general, but the price is on par for the food quality and presentation. Expect to pay around £50 to £60 for a meal and drink for 2. However, the bill can soon rack up if having starters, Welsh steak and desserts. You could easily blow through £100+. I would come more often, but on my monthly eating out budget, this will have to be a special occasion place for us.I have been twice and both times I had a wonderful evening with good food, served hot, in a timely manner and by very friendly and attentive staff.

Recently went with a big family group for Sunday lunch, and the service was super fast, helpful and very friendly. The food was excellent, all the meat was of a really high quality and veg cooked really nicely. Lovely starters too. Thank you

First time we've been disappointed with the food here. There were 5 of us there for Mothers day, unfortunately the beef was tough and the roast potatoes were soggy and greasy, we pointed it out to the young lad serving us and he agreed as a few other customers had also complained. My husband had the crumble and custard but the little jar of custard was only half full which meant due to the already small jar it came in he only had about 3 teaspoons of it!! The serving staff are lovely, very personable, but sorry to say the young girl behind the bar could do with a few lessons in customer service, she could turn the beer sour with the look on her face! She makes you feel like you're an inconvenience to her day...not very welcoming when she is the first person you see when entering.

Pleasant decor, but a bit noisy, though you can't blame the establishment for that. Staff were pleasant and the food was good but not great. I ordered a rare steak but received a medium. Starters were very good.

A date night very well spent at The Lower New Inn. We are so blessed to have such a beautiful pub with amazing staff down the road from our home. We dont always have the time to visit but when we do its a real treat. Excellent food, standards do not slip here. Hubby had the Cider Braised pork belly which was cooked to perfection, i had the stuffed chicken supreme which was delicious. All serving staff cant do enough for you, and we used a gift voucher from christmas towards the bill, no issues there. Always a delight to go back. Thank you LNI xx
