Location was a bit near to the motorway so a bit noisy. Service was excellent the food was very good and the staff were very friendly I even got the remote control for the TV to watch music videos on YouTube. Would definitely recommend it for a dinner bed and breakfast. I would go back .

We were using a voucher which we received from Family for our Christmas. The restaurant was very busy with people using same vouchers from It Is On, and so took a while gor food to be brought to us, but food was delicious, and staff were excellent. We would definitely go back.

Stayed an overnight with my husband after being gifted a voucher from a family member for my birthday. The voucher was for ā€˜a glass of fizz on arrival, overnight stay, 2 course meal dinner, breakfast & late check out for 2’. Before booking my date I made sure that the bridal suite was available & I paid extra to upgrade to the ā€˜bridal suite’ due to the jetted bath tub.On arrival we did not receive our glass of fizz, I asked for it & got ignored. The reception area was very nice & well kept. However walking to our room there was a unpleasant smell of dirty/dampness in the corridors. We went into the ā€˜bridal suite’ and found out that we were in the wrong room. It was a basic room with an electric shower with no bath tub in sight. My husband went to reception to say that we had been put in the wrong room. The receptionist informed him the bridal suite was not available today and when further challenged on it she then told him that the bridal suite cannot be used with a voucher (even though the voucher plus my Ā£25 upgrade was more expensive than the bridal suite & a 2 course meal for two). All we got was a half hearted apology & an awkward smirk & basically told that there was nothing that could be done. After contemplating wether to stay or not we decided to just stay & try & make the most of it due to going through the hassle of arranging childcare & taking annual leave from work. We decided to have a few drinks in the room before our dinner & found that this upgraded ā€˜suite’ we had paid for was absolutely horrible. The carpet was filthy, there was patches of burns/dried in spillage on the carpet. The couch had chocolate smeared on it. There was holes in the wallpaper & black marks on the walls. The window hinge was hanging off, the blinds had smeared stains on it (unsure what it was but was brown in colour). The toilet drainage pipe was leaking & there was a puddle on the bathroom floor. The hot water tap was hanging off, the bathroom door handle was wobbly & had missing screws. There was 1 roll of toilet roll given. The shower door doesn’t shut correctly. The television kept cutting out due to bad signal & the WiFi was shocking so we just used our phone data. There was black mould stains on the windows & bed sheets. The only reason we stayed here was due to it being a present & going through all the hassle to get childcare arranged & to get some quality time as a couple. The only good thing I can say about my stay was the food was nice & the waitress staff were very attentive. The bedroom mirror was stunning.Overall I would never be back to this hotel & I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. I do not understand how this hotel is popular with weddings ect as it is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. I would be a devastated bride. Do not waste your money.

Good sized function rooms with adjacent bar area. Well set up with a lovely selection of sandwiches and cakes. Have previously eaten at the restaurant which was also very enjoyable although that was pre-pandemic.

Went for a birthday dinner, table of 15 or so. Started off great. Service was superb then it went down hill. Had to ask staff to clear the table , sent back multiple plates due to not knowing what’s on the kids menu. Didn’t ask if we wanted deserts had to go and find staff to ask (place was empty at this point) . Gave the kids coconut ice cream instead of vanilla (lucky no one had allergies). Only good thing was the food when it came… will not be back

Just back from what I can only describe as ridiculous, could've forgiven the 35min wait to take a drink order (and the starters coming before the drinks) if the food had been even adequate! Menu said glazed pork chop, actually overcooked loin was what I got. My friends went for cajun chicken pasta but I've tasted better sauce from a jar and steak pie ..... stick with bentos! Needless to say won't be returning!!!!

My daughter booked dinner for us. Arrived at the hotel and temperature check machine and hand sanitiser at entrance. Shown to our table by friendly staff wearing masks. Ordered from Christmas menu. Soup and main courses. Everything was tasty and well presented. Staff attentive without being in way. Thoroughly enjoyable meal. Would recommend to everyone. And we will be back.

Went for lunch with a friend. Lovely hotel and serving staff were almost on the ball, gave a free coffee with the ā€˜clean’ glasses we had to request, to go with the jug of water we eventually got and the milk for my coffee. Well when you ask for coffee with milk you do expect it to come either with the milk or a jug of it. Enjoyed the food although they were pretty heavy handed with the garlic WoWee! Problem was I paid the bill while my friend went to Ladies, seems she did too. Met at desk on leaving, manager told us both had paid and he would refund one, just present your card. Which card we said, any card he said…? Wonder if he understands banking. Still-he did tell us before we actually left….

I visited this venue for my mother-in-laws birthday. It was a lunchtime visit. The place is accessible for the elderly and wheelchair bound. Also, the car park is large, and has plenty of spaces. The dining room is large, airy and extremely pleasantly decorated (maybe in an older person style). The staff are mainly younger, but very polite and attentive. The menu is excellent; there are vegetarian options (which I am) though not especially sure as regards Veganism. The quality of food is of a high standard. I would highly recommend for a nice lunch or evening meal.
