Gemmell’s Coffee Shop in East Ayrshire

Call in today for the first time and very disappointed with the cafe small portions for the price and not to the quality we were used to under last owners. Had the chicken curry with rice which had been nuked in the microwave so the rice was no longer soft and fluffy had to come home for a proper meal. I will not be back to the cafe.

Love bringing the kids here for the soft play, it's well priced and good for both my 9 month old and 6 year old :) cakes and hot chocolate are fab, tad pricey for food but no worse than similar places! Also love the Christmas stuff at that time of year

Good cafe food is very good, Christmas gifts and toys are great, but expensive.

Great. cafe . Lots off lovely Xmas gifts .Bought a new Xmas tree and 2 Xmas displays .Great selection . First time we had visited Gemmells my niece recommended place.

Lovely little garden centre, well stocked and very helpful staff. we didn't eat at the cafe but it looked very popular. We brought solar lights, gardening equipment, soil for potting plants and a couple of plants. They also had the option to bulk order items such at gravel, chippings or soil.

Bought a couple of tired and sad plants from the sale. Dirt cheap.. scuse the pun..and have flourished in the open air with regular watering. Gift shop looked interesting as did the cafe but I was too late to explore either. Staff at the checkouts were friendly and helpful.

Great place to shop, and going on how much my good Lady spent in here. But we both loved it, very well set out easy to browse and very well priced. The Lady on the Checkout very polite and smiling away to us. Even laughing when she was getting attacked by our large Tomatoe plants that we were buying. Definitely going back again as we do not not mind the extra 20 minutes to drive there.😀

Lovely place, friendly staff. We found everything we were looking for. Cafe is really comfortable; we had a lovely lunch.

What a fantastic Garden Centre / Kids Soft Play, we spent the morning here and cannot wait to get back. Lots of quality material for the garden / house, the kids soft play is the best we have been at, the outdoor play area has motorised karts to spin around in, fun for kids and grown ups! We had the rolls with link sausage very tasty and the kids chicken nuggets meals where of excellent quality. The staff in all departments are very friendly and helpful, excellent on site parking plus spacious, clean child cleaning facilities.

Short and sweet today as had to dash home for a special delivery. Love gemmels with the grandkids as the burn off some energy get their lunch before going home ti mum n dad.And i can pick up a few gardening essentials on way out.
