Very disappointed in this place, me and my partner came here for a date. We booked before hand to avoid any long wait. When we arrived the place was quiet with one table sat. We waited at the bar for someone to come and take our details, while waiting there were two staff I could see hanging about the only table that was there for around 8 mins before they even noticed we were there. The young girl came up eventually and asked how she could help. Asked if we could sit outside as it was a nice day. When we sat outside we could see that the table was not cleaned and the bench was very wobbly and unsecured. So we moved to the other which wasn't much better but we stayed there anyway. I went in to order us drinks and ask for the menu (this wasn't given when we were taken outside) and again I had to stand at the bar for a while with no staff present. Ordered drinks and got the menu. Ordered our food, my partner ordered a steak pie and I ordered a veggie burger. Again another long wait went by... finally got our food and tucked in. My veggie burger wasfrozen one from a supermarket. After a few bites my partner noticed a long black hair right in the middle of his pie. So we had to get up and leave. Girl at the bar didn't offer any apologies or money off our drinks. So I said we won't be paying for the food as we had 1 or 2 bites out of it. Paid for our drinks and left for a much better meal elsewhere. Such a terrible place. Don't believe the hype.

The service was excellent, but let down by the food. My mate's main was over cooked and my Penne Napoli lacked taste, needed garlic, olives, chilli and parmesan added.

Had my daughter Vicky and Martin Dunlops baby shower in Maggies today ,from getting in day before to sort out balloons ext the staff ate so helpfull and friendly ,nothing was any trouble ,buffet was first class for very resalable price ,as we're the amazing Gins and cocktails, even the Mocktails for the non drinkers were fab ,over all the best day was had by each and everyone of us couldn't recommend this place enough ,I will 100% be back again ,well done guys you are amazingThank youCaron Wilson

Popped in for breakfast and the eggs benedict is definitely worth a try. I was here around 3 years ago for a great lunch and since then the place is thriving. The staff were friendly and helpful. Prices are a little high but not over the top.

My meal could have been warmer. I like my food piping hot. My sticky toffee pudding was cold and so was the toffee sauce. For the prices I would have expected the food better

Been here a few times now and I love, love, love the haggis lasagne which is also vegetarian (initially to my surprise!) Staff are attentive and polite and very helpful. I love the dinky milk jugs (promise I will resist the urge to 'borrow' one 🤣)

Brilliant food and service. We could not believe how quick our food came and how attentive the staff were. Second time here and will definitely be back. The cocktails also went down a treat.

First time trying Maggie's and we will definitely be back. Lovely surroundings and very pleasant staff. We all had the steak pie and it was delicious with lots of meat. The vegetables were cooked to perfection too. All well presented and certainly plentiful.
